Careful = I mentioned this in a post on the 20 Sept. BTPS want to change the way Section C pension are increased, instead of using RPI they want to use the CPI measure (which is used by Section A and B pensions).

This is how the No.1 trader see it for tomorrow. Amateur hour between 8am and 9am as they buy positions for the week ahead, FTSE 100 may be up a couple of points to begin the day. German election result, Merkel in but not good result, so Dax down.

Sunday Times heads with BT's pension deficit strategy.
£7bn could become £14bn on current arrangements.

They are going to court to change the index which decides how uplifts are paid.
Could save billions if successful.

If BT disappointed again, you could easily see 2.50 imv.
Without this happening, sentiment is somewhere near as poor as I can remember it,
at least outside a severe bear market/ market crash.

There is the classic Victor Meldrew line.. just when you think things will never
get any better, they suddenly get worse ).

Toon, it's true but that doesn't mean l don't have stocks with running losses, which l carry over to the next financial year. I'll even take a hit on profits by taking some losses but overall I've made a profit every year since l started in 2008.

I even post trades nowadays see my BP, BT and RBS trading for example via my post history.

I do need to update my percentages though, which i'll update today.

DMF said 22 Sep '17 - 13:09 - 25242 of 25245 - "We need a dramatic drop .........250 would be good...might be considered fair value at that level"

What makes you say that given we had a 'dramatic drop' at the beginning of the year? Do you believe there is still a number of skeletons in the cupboard? Bye the way what does DMF stand for?

Essentialinvestor, it may be cheaper long term to stay in a Sky, rather than suggest your good lady made an error!

Griff, My better half very helpfully signed us up to SKY at £46 a month,
with some 6 month initial reduction. Next time I will take responsibility!.).

Helped by the UKX mini rebound.

In terms of a crash, £5 down to £2.76 is crashy!.
