I see your point, but I've got a good feel about this, added to the fact that BOD bought some respected chunks of stock. I have no data to support my view but I would not be surprised to see this north of 2.10 by Feb 25?

When Draghi's buying in stake news was announced the price rose on speculation frenzy...the rise then fizzled out and his stake is made to sweat and all those sucked in...will history repeat itself without any company specific news...regulatory approval news on remaining stake still to come...

The reason?
Once the excitement disappears the price of stocks tend to drift until they reach a point of "greed" again....

I'm thinking this might also fall tomorrow.... Possibly.

That comment is a standard response ,
if they say they are going to bid the share price will go significantly higher so they will always deny they intend to bid whether they are or not

Not sure how the entire deal has been done in terms of fixed price or market price for the remaining 14.51%...probably only those in the know know it...


Bharti said it has entered into a binding agreement with Altice UK to acquire a 9.99% stake of BT's issued capital imminently, with the balance 14.51% of BT's share capital to be purchased following receipt of regulatory clearances.

One assumes that will be a GREEN light for all sorts of stuff, including bids...
