14/8/2024 07:07 | FTSE up in early morning on lower than expected inflation figures. Hopefully will continue. If so I am obviously wrong about BT. It appears to have more legs in its bull run. | netcurtains
14/8/2024 06:51 | That's great if she has! All Companies should do have this. IDS which is under offer atm Directors have very few shares and have recommended the derisory offer. | isis
14/8/2024 06:28 | I'm sure Alison Kirkby has it written into her contract that she has to have a sizeable holding in BT shares. From memory I think she has to build up a holding of 500% of salary over the next 5 years. Good luck everyone, Sid. | eaaxs06
13/8/2024 22:30 | Eaaxs06I'm seeing that Alison Kirby bought 400000 shares at 1,07 on the 20th Feb. She bought a further 55000 shares. I'm not seeing this purchase connected with options or contract bonus shares. I am here to be persuaded if I've missed something? | 1224saj
13/8/2024 20:10 | 210p is just under a 4% yield, thats cheap for a secure ftse stock with growth propects - 350p is more like it | stansmith1
13/8/2024 19:34 | 1224saj I thought the rash of director ‘buys’ were actually annual share bonus’s linked to their employment – less the amount they sold to meet tax charges. So none of it was their own funds, or from their own bank accounts? I think it is only natural for holders (like ourselves) to be bullish to the prospects, and share price of our chosen stocks, so we mostly focus on the positives in any development. Let us be honest, would any of us still hold BT if we thought it would all end in tears? Good luck to you and everyone, I hope your guesstimate of £2.10 comes good in the near future. Sid. | eaaxs06
13/8/2024 19:09 | Looking from a different angle Draghi buying stake when BT trading around multi year lows...Bharti buying stake from Draghi share price also near multi year lows...unlike some of those US tech companies all time highs...vote of confidence is one thing...getting the share price moving upwards consistently is another... | diku
13/8/2024 18:30 | Nothing wrong with taking a profit, it's all down to the individual and it's good to have an exit strategy whatever that may be. I always like to write down why I'm investing in a stock, the bull points suggest there is more upside to come hence I've yet to reach my exit price. | smurfy2001
13/8/2024 15:37 | And after all, this has been a dog for a decade. It's overdue a renaissance | djnzloop
13/8/2024 15:25 | I see your point, but I've got a good feel about this, added to the fact that BOD bought some respected chunks of stock. I have no data to support my view but I would not be surprised to see this north of 2.10 by Feb 25? | 1224saj
13/8/2024 13:43 | When Draghi's buying in stake news was announced the price rose on speculation frenzy...the rise then fizzled out and his stake is made to sweat and all those sucked in...will history repeat itself without any company specific news...regulatory approval news on remaining stake still to come... | diku
13/8/2024 10:41 | I must admit I have sold some.... The reason? Once the excitement disappears the price of stocks tend to drift until they reach a point of "greed" again.... I'm thinking this might also fall tomorrow.... Possibly. | netcurtains
13/8/2024 06:22 | Pro kart ace That comment is a standard response , if they say they are going to bid the share price will go significantly higher so they will always deny they intend to bid whether they are or not Have a nice day | janekane
12/8/2024 16:38 | 3.2 billion for 24.5% looks about right at 1.50 share. Any views on this board | 1224saj
12/8/2024 16:07 | Nice close at 141.50. | smurfy2001
12/8/2024 15:38 | A great auction at the close too, a lovely way to end the day. Lets hope for a good press tomorrow, with more forward momentum. Good luck everyone, Sid. | eaaxs06
