03/3/2024 12:43 | If no new sell call arises on say, XTL...then VOD will get continued exchange traded fund manager support . BT im afraid, seems excluded | ![]() vlad the impaler
03/3/2024 12:40 | What you could argue, is that there is a bit of a punt going in on a couple of US telecom ETFs example XTL That obviously requires telecom stocks This may account for VOD and indeed if the US etf market continues to get support, VOD UK shall hold key price and rise It has to be noted, US market not adding BT to this Maybe a better way to read it given a UK sector chart hasn't the constituent count required so.. Holders of Vod, monitor US etf market as well...it will guide you for Vod and not have BT distract you | ![]() vlad the impaler

03/3/2024 11:52 | Q2 2021 was a killer in volume terms .massive buy side after a rise which is always concerning Couldn't break it at that price level and so became easy shorting just sub 200 and easy for shorters to attack, because they had all that Q2 volume that was going to become pessimistic Volume on its own is pretty worthless but combined with prices of fund interest etc, pretty decent .. There is nothing to be buying here presently Question for me now is can VOD duverge from BT? I doubt it . Does need a couple of solid days above 69.90 to even suggest it | ![]() institutional investments
03/3/2024 11:47 | BT is running a current quarter 'net' 950 million dumped v circa 1.2B total Problem is , as you shorten the timescales looking at volume, there is no injection at aby timeframe , for support to hold currently re 102s Now, I know volume isn't exactly a great measure. Who knows what turns up tomorrow. But it does currently suggest that everything else is correct in saying there is no fund interest here and so the trend shall continue | ![]() institutional investments

03/3/2024 09:49 | Thanks for the sensible thread. I can't work out which way this will go - I hold but with less conviction than a few weeks back, looking at the chart. I doubt UKG will allow a takeover (though with this outfit in charge who knows) so it's down to the business-as-usual numbers. On the positive front the new CEO will make a difference, the risk being the new broom sweeps the dividend under the carpet to pay down the pension deficit and/or debt. | ![]() cardinal3
02/3/2024 18:12 | VOD above 69.90 Needs another day kr 2 to be confirming it actually. | ![]() vlad the impaler |
