many people knew CDOs where bad. Billions were lost betting against them in 2006 & 2007.

Take away message is : Being right early is the same as being wrong.

Do the technical analysis, but you have to allow other people to catch up and the market can be slow to react for a long time. Until it over reacts.

i thought they would have not fallen in the first place so i bought into certain telecoms only to see them too thrown out with the virus bath water

i now wander whether upward momentum for telecoms will continue thus the question

Major Government cash injection into broadband suppliers has been on the agenda for a while but now must be accelerated and may be this is the reason for upside

Surprised you sold at a loss, BT has the one product everyone needs, internet, now people who work from home, seems like 90% of London at the moment, they want and need quick speed.

Personally I think BT is well undervalued and has been a victim of sentiment rather than fundamentals for the last few years, but, these are relatively low volume trades and its early days into this crisis, be it real or hyped, it’s happening. Things could drop a lot more.

I dumped most of my holdings at a large loss a couple days ago. If I bought them back today I would have less of a loss, but still a loss. I might just hang onto the cash.

Telecoms probably the only sector who should be bullish with Coronavirus, self isolation everyone needs internet, those who have been told to work from home want fibre and speed. On fundamentals p.e 6.

To me Telecoms, Vod has well, but especially BT is the best in the FTSEWe all need the internet, ok the retirees can get away with not having fibre, but workers at home now want it, at the moment, airlines, energy, retail, forget it.
