09/8/2018 07:57 | Wow, you must have a crystal ball to post that prediction, lol. | montyhedge
09/8/2018 07:33 | Well I think they will start down (about 229/230p area) then flutter around there by a couple of pence either way, then as the day or two progresses a direction will become apparent. | hamhamham1
09/8/2018 07:25 | So with bt going ex div today do we see the shares fall today or tomorrow ? | samartin
08/8/2018 18:06 | Iceman, we got to £2.40 then, let's see if she drops to low £2.20's ex div and then up to £2.50 by month end | 1224saj
08/8/2018 17:54 | Monty. Now you not trying to talk it up to get a higher short starting point? :) I think this worm has turned, time will tell. | hamhamham1
08/8/2018 17:52 | my guess is 233 :-) | sicker
08/8/2018 17:41 | There again there are investors, not traders of course who do not want the income and feel they are getting the shares 10.55p cheaper and going for growth instead. I feel they may not fall the whole 10.55p. Of course depends on the sentiment of the Footsie in the morning. | montyhedge
08/8/2018 17:17 | So we should open at 230 tomorrow | mbmiah

08/8/2018 16:11 | Maybe on the day when they open, even the best companies open less the dividend amount, its an accounting process on opening. But shares that are in an upward tragectory recover the dividend amount and the press on up over time. So the question is do you think that BT shares are in an upward trajectory? We will find out over the next few days, weeks and months. Exciting times. | hamhamham1
08/8/2018 16:03 | All shares I have held through ex div have retraced more than the div amount... | fewdollarsmore
08/8/2018 13:13 | After the event...... | toon1966

08/8/2018 12:40 | Monty, you may have miss understood my question, when you were a BT shareholder about 2 months ago, at what price did you sell out of BT? I hope you’re wrong regarding BT being a short after Ex div tomorrow. However, you are the number one trader. Lol | nige co
08/8/2018 12:36 | Monty. Tell a lie, I did place a bet on bet365 for these end of season outcomes. Toon et el. What do people think??? Championship: Aston Villa finish top 6 6/4 League 1: Barnsley finish top 6 8/11 League 2: Exeter finish top 7 2/1 Scotland Premiership: St. Mirren finish top 6 15/2 I have 4 x £1.75 trebles and 1 x £23 4 fold (get back about £2,800 if all goes well, or get my stake back if only one treble comes in). EDIT £2,800 return potential | hamhamham1
08/8/2018 12:30 | Based on today's vols and price combination there appears no real interest from the big players to buy into the Divi. Therefore, unless things change later today I would not expect a significant real (not the one chalked up by the MMs) price drop tomorrow. | thehearse
08/8/2018 12:23 | Monty. Declaring your positions won't affect the market, just your reputation :) | hamhamham1
08/8/2018 12:19 | ham Yer right, lol. | montyhedge
