08/8/2018 08:12 | Toon. Surely he has to get investigated for that? I mean, surely he has to at least prove that the $70bn funding facility is in place? I hear he has a bond up for renewal (or something) that has a consequence that he has to stump up $1bn cash soon if the share price isn't at as certain level? (let alone it being seen as a dodgy way of trying to force some of the short sellers to buy back - 28% of their stock is out for short I believe currently?). The SEC should do something, else it's going to be the method of choice for any ailing company to try and buck the market share price! Apparently in his letter to the employees, he's said he was sick to death that the value of the company is being related to it's quarterly performances :) | hamhamham1
08/8/2018 08:06 | Yes Ham, it was rather interesting watching CNBC last night, just wonder if Elon will get away with this or if he'll get charged with securities fraud? | toon1966
08/8/2018 06:48 | I am excitedly keeping an eye out for any tweets from Gavin today, would be nice to see one saying that he is thinking about taking BT private, at a price of 420p and that he has the funding in place. :) | hamhamham1
07/8/2018 23:33 | I'm sure we heard Monty saying sit back relax and wait for dividend when he was in and the price was under pressure ! Now his obviously out it seems he doesn't understand people who invest and collect the dividend ! What really amazes me you thinks people don't notice you switching ! Hahaha ? he has entertainment value sure. | holly1000
07/8/2018 17:13 | Hi toon, I mean terrestrial transmitted TV as opposed to streaming services | pacemaker1000
07/8/2018 16:43 | I always thought tradeJ was a man. Maybe they are. | mbmiah
07/8/2018 16:20 | 10.55p drop on Thursday open as it goes ex. divi. Feeling better about these long term. we could get back to 30p EPS over the next 2 years.(maybe 350p share price) but investment in faster broadband and a good relationship with the regulator could lead to higher growth in the longer term. | careful
07/8/2018 16:17 | montyhedge, I promise I'll blow you off if we see new lows here. This offer is only available to members hence why you are so lucky. | tradejunkie2
07/8/2018 16:15 | Monty, they could be new investors who are interested in the divi (as it kinda lowers buy price by 10.55p) but they could be mainly interested in investing now that the downtrend looks like its at an end. (it had to end sometime, it's just getting the timing right that's the hard bit). | hamhamham1
07/8/2018 16:07 | Probably up again tomorrow, as divi chasers want the divi in the bag, before Thursday. They are completely mad but hey everyone different. | montyhedge
07/8/2018 16:07 | Looking at the chart we should trade above the multi-year downtrend line after ex-divi all going well ;) | smurfy2001
07/8/2018 15:54 | Share price still has over 30% to gain just to get it back to where it was 12 months ago. (And over 65% to gain to get it back to where it was 24 months ago.) | hamhamham1
07/8/2018 15:43 | Sorry Pace what do you mean by 'live' TV? | toon1966
07/8/2018 15:32 | Been saying it for ages! Live tv AND adverts are dead. Which is why I don’t understand Sky share price as it is purely an advertising conduit. Good that you don’t need a tv license any more for live tv but it should be only for BBC as itv and others have adverts and don’t get a penny in licence fees. And don’t get me started on S4C! | pacemaker1000
07/8/2018 15:01 | Use of online pay-to-watch TV surges ahead - Some of the comments at the bottom are hilarious, real BBC haters! | toon1966
07/8/2018 13:35 | My hope is that on ex-divi day or within the next few days, is that the share price closes above 232p where there is a nice bit of support. | hamhamham1
07/8/2018 13:10 | Higher lows and higher highs, chart looking encouraging! | investorgirl
07/8/2018 12:45 | 204p is as good as it gets :) | hamhamham1
07/8/2018 12:42 | Ham I got in at 204....got lucky I guess. I normally trade at 10% gain, but think this might have legs. | mbmiah
07/8/2018 12:23 | Mbmiah. To be fair Velo said they believe that the near 3 year downward trend had been broken, if so, this will take a month or two to prove out, they didn't say that it would be 300p by midday today or anything similar? Are you waiting for a lower entry point per chance? | hamhamham1
07/8/2018 12:16 | Blink and you'll miss it, but a trade just went through at 240.0p | eaaxs06
07/8/2018 12:00 | Looks like Vera was spot on | mbmiah
06/8/2018 21:46 | Aaah, you've become a chartist now lol. As you said, the recent share price action is only a blip on the 2-3 year chart. We aren't in shallow waters yet, only news and numbers will get us there. | mbmiah
06/8/2018 21:06 | Your still my number one trader #1ham, go get'em :@) mutley who! | colonelgrim |
