31/7/2018 20:40 | Buying the right company, at the right price, reinvesting the dividends and holding for the long term. Terrible idea, it'll never catch on, I must tell that sage bloke from Omaha before he loses the lot. | hamhamham1
31/7/2018 20:00 | A long term hold is normally a short term punt gone wrong. | montyhedge
31/7/2018 17:16 | Am happy to hold long term and find out. | hamhamham1
31/7/2018 16:37 | Oh really let wait and see. | montyhedge
31/7/2018 16:32 | One day someone will find a cure for Monty's verbal diarrhea | toon1966
31/7/2018 16:29 | Monty - I think he knows one hell of a lot more than you do about BT. Read his somewhat informed posts. New CEO does not have the room to kitchen sink - it's already been done! | ianood
31/7/2018 16:23 | Perhaps they may asked Gavin to stay, jumped the gun getting rid of him. New CEO I would imagine kitchen sink everything and cut the dividend. Cutting sport coverage but want customers to pay more. I will be saying goodbye BT hello Sky, lol. | montyhedge
31/7/2018 16:13 | He appears to know all about you 'tho Monty, obviously a quick learner :-) As all BT & ex BT workers are. | sicker
31/7/2018 15:59 | Got to counter hamham constant ramping of BT.His been on here for six months think he knows it all. Lol | montyhedge
31/7/2018 15:59 | It was the best short, that is historical, the share price will drop ex div - but forget 200 it will not happen ! | dmf
31/7/2018 15:52 | After ex div your see this heading back towards 200p. Best short on the Ftse 100. | montyhedge
31/7/2018 15:25 | Ekuuleus Your post 30471 is correct. We have to make allowances for those less fortunate than us. We have to make extra allowances for Monty. | jenny tulwought
31/7/2018 15:20 | Here’s why the BT share price could be set to storm back against the FTSE 100 | dmf
31/7/2018 15:13 | DMF. Yup. For some reason he needs to think that he's held in high regard here and to get there he needs to keep flip-flopping to cover all bases so he "can't be wrong". But the worst characteristic is to needlessly badmouth a share that he has either sold a long position on (to justify his exit) or is trying (in vain) to lower bb sentiment and the share price to get a better long entry price. If he was a real 'classy' trader, he would have the need for these antics. The noisy ones don't tend to be the clever ones... I mean, just look at me :) | hamhamham1
31/7/2018 15:04 | hamhamham1...You would think if Monty is certain of how he sees BT share price moving...he would short the stock...it seems unlikely to me that he is shorting BT, unless he has already stated so in one of his earlier post! | dmf
31/7/2018 14:53 | Showing my age here, but remember a girl who was at my secondary school who kept running around the playground saying "83 days until I go see Duran, Duran", then the next day "82 days until I go see Duran Duran", you get my drift? She couldn't understand (or see) that the rest of the school didn't really care. Only difference to here is that she didn't alternate every other day by saying, she hates Duran Duran and that she had torn up her tickets. | hamhamham1
31/7/2018 14:38 | DMF. I have learnt that Monty just seems to come here and gloat about his pseudo investments elsewhere and slag off the shares here. It's an odd thing to want to do, not sure what he's looking for? Some kind of praise from internet strangers? | hamhamham1
31/7/2018 14:34 | BT will of course drop ex div .....but i would not risk shorting BT ! | dmf
31/7/2018 14:32 | monty, 2% per month is 26.8% per year. you must work in the financial sector.... | ekuuleus
31/7/2018 14:31 | Monty, I thought you said you sold 'some' of your IAG shares. I guess if they go south, you would say you sold most of your shares, if they go north you say you only sold a few of your shares. I get it - so to cover your 'reputation'??? I find it funny that you need to reassure yourself here. 24 hrs ago you said the whole market was going south this Thursday? It's hard to keep up with your changes in direction, I guess 50 % of the time you will be right. | hamhamham1
31/7/2018 14:31 | Apart from the fact you sold a 'few' yesterday and so missed out on the big rise today... | toon1966
31/7/2018 14:30 | Monty.......look at GLEN ....rising nicely! | dmf
31/7/2018 14:22 | IAG what a winner for the No.1 trader. Getting ready for the short ex div day,BT. | montyhedge

31/7/2018 08:11 | 'trading manipulation' - what brokers rely upon, SETS interference to trigger stops, broker bogus short/long positioning, anon.... p.s. my apologies for posting during opening hours. | colonelgrim |
