It was Heath who sold us out.

Then when Wilson got in, they had a vote for the people to confirm staying in.

We were lied to left right and centre.

The biggest lie was that it was just a common market and there would be no European state.

richard4796, i'm adding around that level to an existing holding as l don't know how far down we're going.

BT is still in a downtrend so i'm being cautious in how much l add.

We want our cake and eat it.....BREXIT and passporting to EU markets.....many financial firms based in the city will relocate to Paris orFrankfurt ...we will be the losers

Don't think we sell that many cars to Germany. Anyway whilst it was a flippant remark and will not happen, I do believe that some hard ball tactics would not go amiss otherwise the EU will treat us like patsies -which is what is happening now.

I was of the opinion that domestic car produ tion in uk is at a record high....if export markets evaporate...what then, there seems to be global over capacity in car

What we should do is tell the Germans that there will be no more car imports of BMWs AUDIs ,MBs. Who has most to lose -not the UK. Think the UK public would buy into this though suspect unlikely to happen. The Germans are the big gainers from the EU -lose the real war and win the economic war.

Brexit is a done deal,we voted for it. Get over it.
The EU do not like it when countries vote to come out, they keep requesting a new vote until they get their way. Well not this time.

I was 25 when I voted to stay in the Common Market.

I have had 40 years to understand that the liars, who conned us to stay in back then, were taking a huge step towards bankrupting the UK.

People who blame old people should instead be grateful that we have seen through the lies and contempt from the politburo EU commission.

Pension deal will be announced Monday at latest. Possibly in Sunday press?
Depends whether you think this will be seen as a good thing and kickstart a rise to acceptable levels or if BT is beyond redemption.

Last post from me on pensioners dying early. I only hope that 4spiel, DMF and careful do not reach pensionable age. Less burden on the relevant pension funds, anyone agree?

Was mainly the pensioners that voted BREXIT.....they think of themselves not the younger generation, which have to suffer the fallout of BREXIT
