I wouldn't count these results as "disastrous", esp compared to those from fast fashion icons like ASOS and BooHoo.
"Reflective of the market" - yes!
But a "meeting (previously flagged) expectations" whilst doing ok in a tough market doesn't hit me as "disastrous".
If there are major casualties from tough current conditions that lead to players disappearing, I think that we will be one of the survivors when dust settles.

What's the average acquisition price of MA's holdings? That would provide a rough ballpark of a floor for any offer to take the company private, I would have thought.

300k buy @ 20p just before the closing bell today. Assuming Alliance and co. are subject to the closed period then possibility that the buyer was Frasers Group or associates. If that's the case then the FG + Monecor holding is inching ever closer to the 25% needed to block any special resolutions.

I don't think they are in a hurry to take it private they've been in a position to take it over for years. It's the AIM listing due to tax planning reasons their entire family pretty much own it now.
