Hats off to the BAT's management who have come up with a really successful strategy to revive the share price in the face of years of ethical investment issues, litigation, political opposition, wars and general bad-mouthing to get the share price back to where it is today. It may not last but it's good to see a UK-based operation doing something right for a change! |
Today should be interesting, see what pull we get at BATS/IMB from the PM results, their +11% was fantastic, we have had a strong run, but some more of that will be very nice to see.. :o) |

Well, I'm out for the moment - but will be watching from the sidelines for the next pullback. Now it's dipped below a 7% yield, that's my signal to switch elsewhere.

The gap between the share price now and Reinet selling 43m shares at 2820p is 420p ie £180m so that's an expensive 'gap' for them.Should've offloaded the shares piecemeal because i very much doubt they've recouped that money on their new investments wherever they are. |
Never got gap theory either. A load of tosh. |

I’m afraid most people who rely on these trading indicators ( aka pointless tea leaf reading) end up underperforming the market |
Gaps don't always get filled immediately and can remain so for many months even years before they are. |
Indicators are showing overbought and there is stil that gap to fill at around 3050p. |
