20/8/2009 18:51 | You can rematerialise the stock for no charge before the end of October and transfer to another broker if you wish (i.e transfer back to a certificate). | topvest
20/8/2009 15:34 | I wish i could close my BD CREST account. I have three stocks from Plus Quoted and one at least i could not sell if i wanted to. I agree BD offer very poor service for the money they charge and the phone bill you can run up waiting to get service and the time it takes the staff to fill the order :-(. | tenapen
20/8/2009 11:39 | Yes, hold some shares in Brewin Dolphin. I've just closed my crest account though. Their product and customer service is very poor in comparison with Charles Stanley (Fastrade) which is absolutely fantastic. I would definitely recommend a fastrade account to anyone - customer service is great on the phone, e-mail communication is swift and personalised + costs are low and easy to transfer cash in. | topvest
18/8/2009 05:36 | That is some increase in CREST charges. Up from £10 to £40 + VAT Try Jarvis Investments £9.50 trades over the phone or Internet and only £5.95 trades if you own 1,000 shares in Jarvis. I hold shares in JIM & have a BD CREST account. | tenapen

27/3/2008 19:36 | Anyone noticed the large trades in here today? 2 trades of over 1% each, 2.7m and 2.9m. A lot of smaller buys too. CR | cockneyrebel
20/10/2007 08:55 | You never can because there is none. Management give absolutely nothing away and the Chairman refuses to make any predictions of future trading. The only 'NEWS' is the continual updating of voting rights and the additional sharelistings. When a trading update comes along it's usually a one liner like 'trading is satisfactory'. Suddenly the shares take a spike and then, almost immediately, retrace. I have now decided to trade them within a short range and hopefully take some profits along the way. At present I am out having sold on Wednesday. Regards PF | peaeff
18/10/2007 19:13 | I'm interested - wondering why the move up today and over the last few days up 20% - but can't find any news. | mtness

21/9/2007 10:55 | We are due a 'second interim dividend' announcement this month and a possible trading update. It would be nice if they could find the time to put something a tad more informative than the last one. 27/02/2007 LONDON (AFX) - Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC said trading in the first four months of the year has been satisfactory, and declared an interim dividend of 2.875 pence, up 15 pct from last year. The private client fund manager and corporate broker said it will declare a second interim dividend in September and a final dividend in late November. From next year, the company will declare interim and final dividends instead of two interim dividends. Regards. | peaeff
19/9/2007 13:00 | Lots of buys all of a sudden | initiate
13/9/2007 19:39 | Apparently, the price increased on the expectation that BRW was going to enter the FTSE 250, but they missed out and are now on the reserve list. | outlook123
