Posted at 23/11/2023 17:23 by clocktower Well their buying has certainly improved the share price, so let us hope that the performance of the business improves and the share price does continue to rise, rather than find that they have once again diluted PI's with another buy in the next few months.Might soon get to the point of worth taking profits and putting the bird in the oven for Christmas. Good Luck. |
Posted at 21/11/2023 10:45 by samed1 I can't disagree with you Clocktower...the issuing of shares to fuel M&A will annoy many for all the reasons you mention and more, dilution, EPS pressure, increase in share volumes...but they did take control, with their own money and they have had the long stated strategy of M&A. The last acquisition has clearly had its challenges... they have acknowledged this. I would be surprised if they didn't pick up on much of the structural issues in the DD process and still made the decision to move forward, given the brand value they were acquiring and the increased dimension it gives the Groups GTM offering. One could suggest that that the poor operational state of the acquisition was more a reflection of the previous management's abilities. Clearly the integration is more costly than expected and that is painful, but personally my view is they'll find the operational efficiency they are looking for. As of the commitment by the Greens being a small percentage of their overall value...no doubt that is true too... but that wasn't precisely the point I was making. Regardless of anyone's collective wealth, it cannot be right to assume that they don't apply their own risk judgements on even the smallest amount...I was brought up with that view. Given that, I would assume they attach as much justification to the last set of buys as they did to getting involved in the first place. They do act with self interest, you are right.... But then most of us do. But their self interest in tied to creating a business of value ultimately and that aligns to all our self interests. |

Posted at 17/11/2023 14:38 by clocktower ali47fishm try doing some research of you want a full history but if you really want to know "what" rather they "who" they are, then opinions will vary but from what I have observed and seen since they removed the previous CEO, they have demonstrated that their self interest comes head and shoulders above those of PI's.Shares issued to themselves and others without offering the same to PI's by way of example. They have grown the company but the share price has remained low but I believe they have a bigger slice of the cake now. |
Posted at 19/10/2023 17:41 by samed1 On a fundamental basis Bbsn looks sound. Ie it's meeting expectations. Across the media sector i have heard senior finance people acknowledging the softness in the market around fee income and mandates...but this will pass and BBSN said in their September statement that h2 was looking better than h1. These stocks are volatile...clearly someone off loading / buying just "a few million" will impact the price in either direction. Cavendish have a target price of 3.4p (ready for the analyst don't know jack views) and it is notable that it trades on a discount to its peers. Well run businesses succeed |
Posted at 05/10/2023 10:33 by eagle eye Johneee,This may help explain share price weakness. The recent Cavendish note maintained eps guidance of 0.23p for the year to Dec 23, but reduced revenue expectations by 18%: 'We have reduced our gross revenue (from £42.9m to £35.2m) and net revenue (from £22.9m to £20.5m) to reflect the challenging macroeconomic environment and tightening of customer spending that we have seen impact the wider market'. Revenue expectations for next year is £36.5m, which is revenue growth of only 3.7% BBSN was a sell on the day of results IMHO. |
Posted at 19/9/2023 13:17 by johneee In this crazy market why would anyone want to sell BBSN ?Surely it's 'fill your boots' time at these prices Looking at the rest of the market there are plenty ' head case valuations' where directors have no skin in their own companies. BBSN is the exception BBSN directors have their own high ownership of the company over 60% of its stock. |
Posted at 01/4/2023 17:41 by halfpenny With recent rise expect Breaking News next week..BBSN looking good and future bright with 8-10p plus ...also Takeover and great Deals more likely... lets see what the RNS will contain.. MM's will know first so price will probably rise before the RNS and some say 8 plus. BBSN : Strong products and Services Huge Demand Strong management team Great Future. Takeover more likely every Day.. many investors looking to buy so could see Value 20p (about 7x share price) Plus plus. Expect RNS and Breaking News next week |
Posted at 15/2/2023 11:34 by mrnumpty According to Brave Bison's Investor website , the named " significant shareholders " own 60.89% of the shares , although it is of course feasible that there are other large holders but whose holdings , being less than 3% , do not have to be publicly declared . With a market cap of only £ 40.42 million ( current share price is 3p / 3.2p ) , that 60.89% of significant shareholders means that the remaining shares are valued at a mere £ 15.8 million . With such a minute free float , the share price is prone to larger movements than if the free float were greater - hopefully the movement will all be on the up side ! Good luck all |
Posted at 15/1/2023 18:12 by halfpenny BBSN would always be ready to be taken over if the price is right. The shares are very cheap which makes them a target.1. Great products and services in high demand. 2. Great share value ie under priced 3. Plenty of cash in the bank. 4. More companies with cash looking for targets such as BBSN. The longer the share price remains low then the higher risk of a takeover. Maybe they can merge with a larger company thereby increasing share value. Waiting for next RNS with large orders. Great Company as Future looks bright for BBSN. |
