14/8/2020 09:36 | Has anyone got an idea of the realistic value of this business and where the share price should be sitting? I can't help but wonder if the company will be bought out lower than 1.45p a share. | honest_fred
14/8/2020 08:53 | Maybe quality as well dan de lion but the share price has a lot further to sink yet based on the last results. There has been to much stock issued for under performance since CH departed, and they are likely to continue with the policy of rewarding those favoured with sizeable amounts of stock to try to turn this around. If they start buying businesses at 10 times earnings, there will be nothing in the pot to cover hard times. | clocktower
12/8/2020 23:31 | Most probably cheaper! | dan de lion
11/8/2020 09:09 | Sudden change of Advisor from Allenby today. Something cooking!! | clocktower
05/8/2020 15:56 | Having now done a number of sums based on the presentation document, I can see the share price dipping well below 1p again unfortunately. They speak of Buy and Build and mentioning buying businesses at £5 million plus but it will need a lot of fresh funds to do this or were are looking at an RTO but BBSN would not buy itself for the current market price or anywhere near it for £8 million plus, so why would anyone invest at this level? " ● High-growth social publishers; ● Engaged audiences with a cross-platform approach; ● Bonafide brands with multiple revenue opportunities across commerce, subscription, sponsorship and events. How Much? ● 25%+ revenue growth; ● Break-even, or break-even within 12 months ● £5m to £15m purchase price " With net assets of only £1.4 million what should the share price stand at now? On the basis of a RTO I suggest around .004 Will Tangent Marketing be reversed into BBSN? | clocktower
05/8/2020 09:53 | Hope some others here joined the webinar this morning. Very informative indeed and I wish a lot of other companies would present in this manner. It was very good to be able to put forward questions BUT the meeting was scheduled for one hour and it lasted about 40 mins, it seemed to me that they scrolled though a number of questions and although they mentioned they would answer others at a later date, they clearly had time to answer a lot more BUT it leaves one wondering if they avoided the more difficult questions live. I still have confidence in their ability to turn this around and in the plans they have to do so. Another issue with the webinar, is the way one was unable to provide feedback or vote etc - it was cut and they mentioned being able to provide feedback etc if one hung on in to the webcast but it effectively shut down. Anyone else willing to comment? | clocktower
04/8/2020 09:15 | I believe this is a very exciting time for companies of this type that have good management that can see opportunities to consolidate and build strong brands, like has been done with Hook at knock down prices due to COVID. I believe we will see a very rapid turnaround in it`d fortunes over the next six months. | clocktower
04/8/2020 08:16 | Yes- wrapping up all less palatable issues into this Covid period is a recurring theme across many companies it would seem- makes sense and- as you indicate- clears the decks and sets the bar at a level that should allow clear improvement moving forward. I am happy to hold here with a long term view. DL | davidlloyd
04/8/2020 07:20 | That's the expected bad news out of the way. Seems like Kate and co had a decent payoff. Forecast not as strong as I expected but this imo will result in forecasts being beaten next time around. Still has strong cash position and recovery well on its way.I remain very positive. | clocktower
03/8/2020 12:18 | The Hook was purchased at a knock down price and will add a huge underlying value in these strange times that favour online businesses. Into the top moves list, expect big volume increase and a bigger jump in the share price very soon imo. | clocktower
03/8/2020 11:46 | Ready to break out- get Hooked.:-) | clocktower
31/7/2020 14:16 | T trades should kick in I guess. Up and on. | clocktower
28/7/2020 21:13 | The 30,000ft View | Oli Green | Tangent Season 1 Oli Green is CEO of Tangent and Brave Bison. Having recently acquired The Hook out of administration, Oli drops in to discuss thriving in uncertainty, splitting his time across his three businesses, and the concept of long term planning in marketing becoming an outdated practice. | russ505
28/7/2020 15:10 | Not to be missed and open to all. I think we may get a jump before then taking the share price towards 1.75-2p - So nice scope for a decent short term profit imo. "Oli Green, Executive Chairman, and Philippa Norridge , CFO, will provide a live investor presentation of the half year results via the Investor Meet Company platform on Wednesday, 5 August 2020 at 09:00 BST." | clocktower
15/7/2020 07:12 | 'The Panasonic deal will add to top and bottom lines for a company that is cash rich and reports its interim results in a few days. Technology stocks have been to the fore recently and Brave Bison should have capitalised on the trend. At such a low market cap without debt, it appears a likely takeover candidate. We note the rise to 700 YouTube channels and increase in YouTube revenue from the last update. In addition the rise to over 150 million social followers gives the company the platform to expoentially grow in the near term, especially as Asia has become a key priority. Target: 7.9p' | pakenham
14/7/2020 11:44 | Looks like someone taking advantage of the rise to offload some! | dan de lion
14/7/2020 09:33 | A positive start to the day with volume well up already. | clocktower
14/7/2020 07:53 | Hope so- and keep going too.... DL | davidlloyd
14/7/2020 07:39 | This could turn out to be a valuable appointment, and one that must have been established while Kate was CEO. Maybe I underestimated her a little in the past, even though she appeared to be part of back stabbing crew. Could this be the bounce back to 3p? | clocktower
02/7/2020 20:51 | It's been a while since I took a look at the company website but I was pleasently surprised by the look. If Kate was responsible for the update, she did a decent job on one thing before she parted company. However, let's hope she gets more success than she achieved while in the CEO post here. | clocktower
30/6/2020 19:16 | I guess we will soon see a RNS about those big trades. | clocktower
17/6/2020 09:10 | What did people expect ? Crucial phrase for me is mergers . I'm looking for them to be taken over by tangent | 1savvyinvestor
17/6/2020 07:31 | A lot of waffle and no substance and worse yet they seem to want to buy growth.bang goes the cash. | clocktower
12/6/2020 10:35 | More boards should be headed up by capable women imo and it was a disaster losing CH, as she had turned the company around from a very long list of failures that had it seems also been in constant board bust ups. it seems to start with the old CEO selling stock very soon after good results were published, and the cycle started all over again. The sooner we gets facts and figures the better now. OG needs to be transparent with his intentions. | clocktower
11/6/2020 11:13 | Or just Tangent feels the Company no longer needs to pay for a CEO, with their Guys taking the helm. The takeover surely will happen soon.... | troutisout |
