A friend was sending me pics from Shanghai. Amazing place. Technically advanced, always pristine , prices excellent and so on. I'm not suggesting everyone should demand communism but other areas are same in the east under democracy there too .

One lesson can be learned from the advancing Asia. Look after your own country first. If not, we will be 300 years. Behind them Instead of 200 today,Infrastructure and so on

Light years behind them

Farage just wants to democratically do same

The future rewards are evidenced in the East

I hope he at least wins in Clacton. Will make the HoC prime time viewing Ange v Nige with Kneel v Nige on the undercard. I doubt the odds on the winner would be worth the effort though

If Nige can change his mind, why cant I? The Tories most certainly have and if its good enough for J.M Keynes its good enough for me. You stick with em if you like.

Do you need to know today? Main thing is to see that the ones who count know something. Act. Find out later, if ever

The prospect of Starmer, Ange and the red peril as the main course could well be a part driver of this nose dive. Does make me wonder what OPEC have as a strategy though. Are electric cars visible on Riyadh's roads? Anyone know? Never seen any on Dubai's roads but when it costs £15 to fill your tank why would they?

I'm sure you had a great run under them? No point slagging them off now

Your right scruff1. They haven't exactly encouraged growth. Deserve what they get. Anyway, oil prices will return, and Opec will monitor it. It starts in October by 500,000 barrels.

the tories raided the stockmarket anyway with pension freedoms, they were no good.

best to smash into the wall now, bankruptcy for the country is the best option.

BP has slumped together with Brent . Not sure how a labour government is factored in but would have thought impact is relatively small being a global player . Now any talk of moving its listing because of labour would be interesting.,,.

I was hoping to exit BP when back over 500. Could be a very old man by then. It looks like OPEC have given up on shoring up the poo or they have changed their objective - maybe punishing the yanks. Either way imo the oil story is in long term decline. I may have to lower my exit price but exit it will have to be - too volatile and no longer is the grand recovery assured or clear - especially the case for BP

I'm not surprised we've opened in the red. The political poles for the tories are dismal this morning.

expensive green.

they making any money on it yet?

part of me wants oil down to 60$, will put an end to any windfall tax collection for government.

they will have to turn there attention to the banks than for any extra tax.
