01/6/2021 10:00 | Anyone else noticed the hazy skies now they are full of planes again? They have been deep clear blue on sunny days when planes weren't flying. It's obvious looking at some of the trails how they spread out to form a haze. | spawny100
01/6/2021 09:58 | Morning Porto, filled me lawn mower up, should be able to keep the grass tidy now :-) Looking at the aircraft movements throughout the world I can see oil is going to be needed for a long time...and here's Loony doing his best to get rid of our production! 31/5/2021 12:23 | Rather than buybacks or dividend increases investing in the climate change transition plan would make more sense, get the transition over with as fast as possible, that would move the share price in the right direction and de-risk the energy mix. | spacecake

30/5/2021 08:16 | smurfy200130 May '21 - 05:20 - 95489 of 95489 0 0 0 Have BP cancelled the shares they bought back? Also yield is 4.8% dividend isn’t the issue right now but something else is! Where do you think that divi info might be, annual report perhaps ? Do you think institutional investors might be thinking that the BP board are a bit slow with their actions on climate change and that the recent climate change activity at other big oil companies means BP is dragging it's feet. If the BP share price continues to fall during a share buyback, what does that tell you ? | spacecake

Moaning about the transition will not stop it or even slow it down as it's already overdue. Quoting BP CEO Bernard Looney... “We believe our new strategy provides a comprehensive and coherent approach to turn our net zero ambition into action. This coming decade is critical for the world in the fight against climate change, and to drive the necessary change in global energy systems will require action from everyone.” Just get on with it ASAP | spacecake
