Strong commodities into 2021, stay long on all of them, $US will eventually become trash with printing presses on 24/7 The massive debt mountains continues at frightening speed, this will not end well!

If they return to previous Divi then I agree but not sure that's on the cards for 2021. Currently running at 5.5% which is about right.

Not sure as if this new strain takes hold in the US it will spread like wildfire and may force Biden to U turn on his statement of no national lockdown. We have shale starting back up so this may also impact Oil Pricing.Let's see what the inventory draws are like this week.

Seems like most retail are short or praying it sinks back down comfortably below £3 to buy back in. We had plenty of opportunity to load up between 190p and 270p. It is unlikely the market will have a big drop back down to that bargain area now for 'last orders'. Looks like good volume and real money orders flowing in wanting a stake in BP's future, they won't be interested in playing 'fill the gap' games.

Irish.
Looking for entry on that 2.72 gap. Thoughts on whether it will be filled if she holds above 3. In the event of a sell off over the pond. Will BP stand firm?

Hi guys. Been quiet on here for a few days. Wondering if we can expect to see any pull ups once 300 is broken? Anyone got any thoughts on lines of resistance?

Oil prices have taken most by surprise due to the opec agreements and Saudis cutting a voluntary million bls. After a couple months of constant wider market rises there will undoubtedly be a correction at some point, especially considering the current lockdown situation and covid statistics. Who knows when that will be. So many businesses gone to the wall or in dire straits, but the market seems to be ignoring it at the moment.I'm in cash now and won't be rushing to buy. It's all about sentiment, and it's well overdue to change.Long term, bp is a very safe bet though

Depends how long you be planning to hold for really. I think this is a good price longterm. But those pesky gappists think otherwise, so better entry might be coming to a screen near you soon.

My main concern is that the oil price may have got ahead of itself given the recent pandemic figures? Maybe looking ahead beyond vaccines but too soon to be certain vaccines will be effective against all mutations such as the South African strain.
