There is no point in listening to people who have gone short for £5 point per point on their 4th spreadbetting account (after the first 3 got blown up), pretending that they can predict collective human behaviour/black box machine trading algorithms, and declare that they will "not lose money this time". I thought this site was home of the private investor?

They aren't shorting they are spread betting, believing that their posts on these boards in some way affect the sentiment. Isn't there some sort of disclaimer on these spreadbet websites along the lines of "expect to lose your stake and your home if the market turns against you and you are over leveraged"?
