This mug won’t be selling if it did go lower! Holding for fair and sensible value whenever that may be.

If you wait for the trend you’ll miss the boat. I’m calling 195 the bottom.

This looks a 'no brainer'.

The trend will reverse soon as those hedge funds do an about turn.

My chart is saying buy but my head says wait for the trend to turn.

Just been looking at the likely dividend predictions and cannot see this stay this low for much longer. Looney will speak next week.

I am about to 'jump on the boat' but may wait for this afternoons early US movements.
Do not want to miss the return journey bus ride.......

DDDD.

How can it be down another 20% in a month when it was already down 50% since the start of the year?

The question isn't will you make money at this price. The question is how much money will you make at this price.

I think both BP and Shell are doing exactly the right thing reducing exposure to oil and gas and moving into renewables because that’s the way the whole world is moving. To ignore it is just silly but come on, there’s no way oil and gas are going to reduce enormously within the next ten to twenty years. No battery even imagined can currently fuel an airliner, a cruise ship or any other large vessel so once the world opens up again, which it must, the reduction in production will see the oil price fly. You just have to have a longer term view but both BP and Shell will more than double in the next few years, vaccine or no vaccine. We will live with CV whatever it takes.

Oh I'm pretty sure this will be 300 not to long from now. The many vaccines in trials will not be far down the road, nor the many very effective treatments like SNG001. We are just in the thick of it atm with panic and worry. A large diversified company like Bp will weather the storm. Any whiff of this virus being controlled somehow will release the lock and chains on this stock. It's oversold by about 100 imo

Agree with that slink, not a bad buy level with dividend in now too. Even if it drops if you can hold a year or two I see it back to over £2 easy... so no brainer here. Then there's a take over maybe.... BUY
