A merger of BP and one other Oil major is more likely.

More consolidation coming Oil sector side the longer Poo stays low.

Biy unlikely Nemesis? BP is comfortably in the top 10 of the Ftse100. The next company in the league is nearly 20Bn lower. Trackers, pension funds, PI’s all filling their boots!

Yes Brent pulled back slightly since my post but £ still down and ftse future opening up 47 points so I’m still calling BP up 4p once it’s settled come 8:30am.

Looking at the stock futures, the £/$, Brent, and yesterday NYSE BP it looks hopeful we’ll start the day up 4-5p if not more. It’s a start.

The WHO has just said that numbers will be 5 times worse by Jan 2021 than they were in April 2020

Oil stock are oversold. Any sniff of trouble in the Middle East and you can double the current price of all the oil majors. These are unusual times.
