Bloomberg reporting left a bit to be desired during the day. Saudi cunning baldrick plan continues even though low prices must be hurting them now. Back to $30. They were all pumping near max capacity anyway so to freeze at these levels would have had minimal effect on reducing the global glut.

Not surprising to see a fall in oil in the morning. Futures not brilliant.

Investing.com - Oil producers gathered in Doha, Qatar, on Sunday failed to reach an agreement to freeze production among major producers, setting the stage for a continued glut in the global crude oil market.

Doha outcome looking favourable. Kuwait prodn dropped 60% due to strikes apparently. Should be good for oil tomorrow though never know with this lame donkey.

If the advisory vote is not actioned then voting is meaningless...all too often it is in favour of the insiders....in the meantime the CEO is laughing all the way to his bank....and he will probably move on....

World's major oil producers to discuss potential cut in output this Sunday

Trading resumes at 23:00 (BST) on Sunday night and we expect markets to be volatile.

Please ensure positions on oil and related markets are adequately funded over the weekend.

BP Chairman says if oil prices stay low they will have to review the 'financial framework' euphamism for DIVIDEND CUT AHEAD. BP share price could hold at a lesser payout but how much less and for how long !

BP would be fullish to ignore the vote of 60%
of shareholders - 20% increase is out of touch
of present day reality - grow up BP - try 5% ?
generous ? we are all paid to do best we can.

I may live on another planet but I cannot understand what he might do with that huge amount of cash :-(
I know I would have great difficulty spending just 1 million :-)
