RNS a tad underwhelming? |
Was beginning to think I was overweight (12% of portfolio)in energy shares last Summer but had a feeling Russia and Iran would find it increasingly difficult to smuggle oil/gas into world supplies. Cold NH winter also now eating into inventories. Onwards and upwards for energy shares right now. Usual problems for me: Predicting the peak and pocketing max gains. Where does cash go next? Investing in UK plc looking like a bad idea! US tech stocks are a bubble waiting to burst? Maybe just spend some before next tax raid? |
Pound may tumble another 8% report on bloomberg now |
Dollar on its way down which is a good sign |
Oil up and expected hit usd 90 as per pundits. BP has to make up its mind ie going up to 450p or down tp 400p . MM are making fortunes in day trading. |
Absolutely right, pigeon |
The only people that should get the jobs TO run the country. Should be people that can prove they're capable of doing it whether it be female or male At the minute, there's too many people getting jobs because of. their gender. |
dont class depression and anxiety as sickness and save the country £20 billion a year.
will get productivity up aswell. easy. |
Oil, Brent at $81.30 Barrell. Mid 80s about right for Brent |
Oil up 2% :-) |
Shell vs BP
Shell has been the winner over the last year.. |
I suspect oil will be in higher demand with the sanctions which will drive the oil price up..I'm bullish on oil |
Anyone concerned Trump will crash oil prices to wreck Russian economy and force to negotiating table?Militarily it is a stalemate and Putin does not care about more deaths. Only way to force him tk table is economicallyAsking as feel little overweight in BP and Shell |
It will never happen, the British government will not allow it to be sold overseas. |
Labour will create thousands of new jobs in green energy except they will be in China making solar panels and windmills |
Hopefully stay above 4.30 for the weekend |
The Labour Party have a representative in China today taking new orders from the CCP, it won't get any better I assure you. |
IMO unlikely that a BP acquisition could be blocked in today's world. It does not mean that it will happen! |
Under what national security grounds Labour are determined to shut down our Oil and Gas industry What incentves does the government offer aside from a toxic mix of sky high wind fall taxes and NI. If a business makes a good profit then this government calls it "obscene" |
BP, a British petroleum company, could be sold, but it would face scrutiny from regulators and politicians. The government could also block a sale on national security grounds |
Nobody will ever be able to buy Bp for the get bid it's just not possible it will not be allowed. |
Added to my bullish positions; will the drop in GBP draw out a bid??? |
And shareholders dividend payments. $1.23 Oil Brent close to $80.00. |
