New leadership at New Age. Looks like Chinese have taken over with CNOOC and Sinopec senior execs now in charge.Leadership TeamChengyu Fu – ChairmanYu Liang – Chief Executive OfficerLooks like Etinde will definitely go ahead now, expecting news over the next couple of months and may have to buy some more BLVN.

Important to remember that liquid is more important for Etinde so value here even if they reinject the gas.

We have over 1 trillion cubic feet of natural gas so I would imagine still a possibility for our gas.

War, are you saying there appears to be no market for out LNG as this contract suggests over capacity?

As Bioko has been the hot favourite, this begs the question of available spare capacity there for Etinde gas:

Anybody any idea on this?

The last updating on Etinde was with the Interims on 29th March, so if there is nowt out this week it will, for PIs, be a an entirely Etinde blank six months.

Given the management chaos at New Age it would be understandable if no progress had been made on the development options, but as we do know that by now the data analysis and interpretation of the IM field should have been completed and forwarded to the auditor, some commentary on the situation could have reasonably been expected

Prisoners we are of New Age in whom it has become increasingly difficult to have any confidence as they shunt from one CEO to the next.

Come back Steve Lowden - please, please come back Steve Lowden!

Oil up $10 Monday. China increasingly looking away from US for oil and LNG. New Age backed by Chinese money. Surely all that tells you this will be developed and Lukoil and New Age should want to buy Bowleven out. Matter of time but hoping we will be there within 6 months.

New Age will appoint new management soon and with the sale completed I expect progress by end of the year. Think this had relatively little risk at the moment and plenty of upside.

To remind myself of some of the background of the Bioko LNG plant, I went back to this dated 2017:

Below 11 on the bid now while other oil stocks seem to be up. Is this Cameroon related or due to silence from New Age?

Yes got a letter from the administrators, I'm not really worried as the share should still be there and if I'm not I'm covered by the FSCS I hope! The administrators are Leonard Curtis here's a link to their SVS page which contains amongst other things a copy of the letter I received

kbrook, have you been contacted about SVS? I'm in the same boat but also have shares in another broker

Look on the bright side all holders stuck here waiting for something to happen I'm in a worse position, stuck here indefinitely as my broker SVS has gone bust. At least it takes the decision away from me as to whether I should stick with it, saying that I've been here many years so wasn't going anywhere anyway!

This is a long painful wait, I'm sure we all thought we'd have been sold by now.

Agree on broader market not sure on BLVN. Think that mirrors O&G sector and the lack of information from New Age. I expect senior management to be sorted there in next couple of months and expect at that point things will move quickly Etinde their best asset now and will be developed. They need Congo to close to provide funding and then hopefully we motor.

Not me, haven't bought any but am holding. Let's see, given New Age are focused on developing this and have no other assets, we will get to FID and be sold.
