I expect we would be sitting at around 20p with more jam tomorrow promises if COC had lost.
We are far nearer a decent 'pay day' with COC upon reflection.

Agree fft. We all went over the possible valuation. North of 50p total payout had a level of support. How much North of 50p and the time-scale are the crucial questions.

If COC are buying millions more at the current price, they are not doing it to lose money so are clearly expecting a higher return. Indeed as VC or takeover people their exit strategy would probably be a 50% uptick - which allows for a fair bit of downside on that target and still make a nice return.Timescale obviously unknown but they will have accounted for the time value of money.

Ross I am not sure what you mean but they have a vested interest of which we know nothing. I am not trying to knock this share and want to break even here at all costs with what I have left but I am lost for words or direction. Just want out asap and ideally for 40+ or higher if possible. We are miles off my average

symbo, yeah my aged memory doesn't often let me down but it has here. For my sins I also hold AEX and closely follow the Tanzanian English language press and had forgotten these relatively recent updates:

No news though of construction actually starting but haven't been able to find the Ferrostaal presser you mention.

Perhaps, when we get the Big Update there might be summat in there about a Ferrostaal fertiliser plant in Cameroon.

War baby, perhaps you missed it but ferrostals headline news is the signing of a multi billion dollar fertiliser plant in Tanzania? But agree no mention of other projects especially Cameroon.

I doubt that this will ever succeed, the priorities of the elite are obvious to see.

"planned domestic fertiliser and power plants."

Ominous silence for quite some months now on Ferrostaal fertiliser projects on both sides of Africa. In Tanzania where another large plant was announced to great excitement with a schedule of coming on stream in 2019, nowt has been heard of the project for getting on for a year now.

Looking at the Ferrostaal website website ( fertiliser plants do not appear to form a core part of their business and neither Cameroon nor Tanzania appear in their geographical spread. Have they, perhaps, given up trying to deal with Cameroon and Tanzanian governments in sheer frustration?

In contrast Hilli, now renamed Hilli Episeyo, could be operational later in 2017 as the world’s second functioning and first converted FLNG vessel. The modification work, at the Keppel yard in Singapore, has entered its final phase and Hilli Episeyo is due to commence trial operations in the Kribi fields off the Cameroon coast in September this year.

Golar LNG has concluded an eight-year time charter contract with Societe Nationale des Hydrocarbures (SNH) and Perenco Cameroon, developers of the fields, to underpin employment of Hilli Episeyo. The SNH/Perenco scheme is based on production of 1.2 mta and Gazprom has signed up for the full output.

Hilli Episeyo is being provided with the capacity to liquefy up to 2.4 mta of LNG, so Cameroon will have the potential to boost exports. This option will depend on the extent to which any newly discovered gas reserves exceed the needs of planned domestic fertiliser and power plants.

LUKoil, together with the British, managed to convince their hardened partner to stop on the most promising and fashionable option - liquefied gas, or LNG. At last February shareholders' meeting of the project, the British Bowleven "discussed several potential options, including FLNG (floating LNG, or a floating LNG plant), the company said.

“We also received consent from the local government for the export of LNG," Thomas Becker, representative of the British company, added.

When a floating LNG plant was put into operation, neither the British nor LUKoil informed the media. According to the latest data, the shareholders plan to start production from Etinde in the second half of this year. And, of course, without Gazprom.

Any guesses when a "State of the Union" update RNS might happen along outlining just what they've found including what the cash position actually is?

My own guess would be not until mid June at the earliest to give them the chance to also conduct conversations with all parties including SNH and VOG.

Good morning Donpatrol.
Having come so far it seems a bit of a shame to sell at the current price.

The road ahead is clearer and we have a handle on what return is achievable; something north of 50p imo .

Having come so far, I am holding until the ultimate payday.

Sold out before the vote for just under 34p. As it has turned out it was the right move, I count myself very lucky to have gotten out of this corrupt dog of a share. In future I'll cut shares like this loose a lot sooner.

Its even worse than that cyman, in horse racing terms the race is completely fixed from every angle.

Whereas here, we were at least providing easy money for a well loved racehorse owner in the spirit of assisting and promoting open and honest equine sport. I was certainly more than happy to have helped out.
