31/3/2017 13:32 | Cyman, just wondering if you kept your holding? Despite saying I was going to sell I actually bought a few more in an effort to average down, my average about 40p or just over I think. Hoping I won't live to regret that! | kbrook
31/3/2017 12:43 | Funny how quiet it gone in here Wonder why ;-) | cyman
31/3/2017 10:13 | And also according to the RNS this morning!31 March 2017Bowleven plc ('Bowleven' or 'the Company')Withdrawal of requisition for General MeetingFurther to a previous announcement made by the Company on 17 March 2017 regarding a request for a General Meeting from Crown Ocean Capital P1 Limited ("COC"), the Board of Bowleven confirms that it has received notice of the withdrawal of this request and the associated proposed ordinary resolutions from COC. | bakero
30/3/2017 19:31 | Thanks Shak, I hope this turns into a profitable little transaction for you as well. From here on in Ashworth et al have nobody to blame anymore, but themselves. We'll still agree to disagree on our definition of "waste". Exploration requires risk and running a business cost money. At Bomono clearly they spent too much, but that's the business. Anyone who doesn't get that and understand the risks shouldn't be rolling the dice (this comment is not aimed at anyone in particular before you all jump on me!) | winnet
30/3/2017 16:01 | I wish you well, winnet. Onus is on the new board to now slash costs - they have been horrific in the last few months as usual. BLVN still has circa $90m cash and a terrific asset in Etinde. Not much downside, IMHO. Sad thing is, over $100m has been wasted in such little time by the outgoing board. Shocking. | wshak
30/3/2017 14:39 | There is no "old guard" to support anymore and theres nothing naive about my views at all. Clarkson will go soon to IMO. I don't see huge comparable upside with COCs strategy (as many have noted). I also see more risk with the majority holder residing in a tax haven and nonadherence to CG best practice. I sold out the majority of my holding and that's that. There is no wrong or right with any of this. Just differences of opinion. I maintain that Bomono is valuable. 4 million per annum in revenue net. That's my prediction based on my own research. SHN will not have had the books opended to them in the same way VOG have. So I know which horse i'm backing. COC have got control. They will execute their strategy. How successfully remains to be seen, but i will not be a sizeable holder when they do. oh - and as for the shareprice "telling me things". Pleeeease! | winnet
30/3/2017 13:24 | Good news today, old guard out. I don't usually like to personally comment on posters, but Winnet - you come across as very naive/blinkered with your consistent support of the old guard. The share price is telling you exactly the opposite to your opinions, and has done for years. | haywards26
30/3/2017 12:30 | Simon Thompson's recent comment... "Of far more interest to me is that these developments pave the way for an accelerated disposal programme of the company's assets. It may not generate the maximum cash returns for shareholders, but there should be significant upside nonetheless." | x54v
30/3/2017 10:54 | Sand Grove, at least, appear to be full of the BLVN Spring. | warbaby43
30/3/2017 10:27 | did I miss the snh press release? | fatnacker
30/3/2017 10:24 | Clarkson could have resigned. He chose not to. | kimboy2
30/3/2017 10:20 | Well I guess if Clarkson doesn't change his ways he'll go the same way as Hart pretty quickly. The new directors have control of the board 2:1 now. | loglorry1
30/3/2017 10:18 | Given that he appeared to be siding with old gang during the interregnum, interesting to see that in this morning's RNS Clarkson is given as the contact point at BLVN. Perhaps, all is not as appeared. Meanwhile, I wonder what is now going to happen over COC's two Frenchmen - five is two too many directors for a BLVN holding company. | warbaby43
30/3/2017 09:53 | I think we need to know the true picture of what Bomono actually is before any decision can be made on it. Clearly the VOG deal had something to do with the last BoD hanging on. The SNH press release was "news to us mate" and so there must be much more to it. | loglorry1
30/3/2017 09:39 | So what do you propose blvn do with bomono other than selling the gas? | fatnacker
30/3/2017 09:25 | and the downside for blvn loglorry? Hopefully no more downside on Bomono now sanity has prevailed. I'm hoping wasting $100m was enough. | loglorry1
30/3/2017 09:00 | and the downside for blvn loglorry? | fatnacker
30/3/2017 08:56 | Vog are still spinning it as a winner but then I suppose they would. Very little downside for them. | loglorry1
30/3/2017 08:37 | The authorities had to agree to Bomono by June 30th otherwise either side could pull out. I would expect the deal to be dead in the water. | kimboy2 |
