with a better general market in the 'minnows' they ought to be able to raise
enough for the remainder of the year. I can't recall exactly what they said at the last AGM, but they were not talking big numbers.

I think that there is a better 'tone' amongst junior resource stocks. Plus the recent change of nominated advisor may have helped. Again when you look at the price of Lucara , BOD at these levels has to be seen as a great spec.

hmm....that's the first award to Sunland rather than Atlas, if I'm not mistaken.

Hi Ein, hope you are well !
I was invited to BOD placing but on this occasion declined.

I was lucky with an ALBA (one of the horse hill companies) placing at 0.25p, a couple of weeks ago which has 4 bagged today. There is still hope in the resource sector!

Euclid, I don't think so , if they were interested in taking us out they would just make an offer?

ein, if you participated in the placing do you happen to know if Alrosa (or related) are gathering a position?

Any award of shares should be performance based and not just for "professional fees" on top of their salaries, especially when they've just got rinsed on the placing.

I went in for the placing, its at a lower price than I hoped it would be but thats the way it is. I believe the Russians are quite happy and getting a lot done, no guarantee of success? However unlike most other mining stocks Diamond are looking like they have a solid future. I see Dermot Desmond put 15 mill into his diamond company in Canada, not known as a man who makes many mistakes? I expect the Russians to have results around June and with a bit of luck we will have targets to drill towards the end of the year. The risks are getting lower the longer they are there and the upside could be like the old days if we are lucky, I remain confident that we have a good chance of success?

So then it's good they are not using it as a cash cow and are rewarding themselves for their hard work in shares instead, right?

They haven't sold one of their shares yet since the company listed.

The directors have multiple interests, if one company turns out to be a dud, there's plenty more fish in the sea.

The directors buying shares in the market would be just plain silly - it would raise no money for the company and could be interpreted as a stunt. Pilot48 -there is nothing stopping you from buying in the market for 1p!! If the directors own 25% of the company then you can be pretty sure that they are interested in the company being a success.

Perhaps you should compare and contrast with some other AIM companies...

The BOD has bought shares few times and at much higher price than it is now.

I prefer to have directors paid in shares than that they dip into much needed company cash.

Some private investors really want their cake and eat it.....I bet you would also complain if this was a company where the directors don't buy shares and where BOD members only have token holdings?

It's only £160K.

Serious vote of confidence from the BOD here, imo. The three directors alone hold 25% of the company -- I would say chances are good that their interests are aligned with ours.

Nice. Teeling just needs a deed poll change to tea leaf. Awful placing and now more dilution for "professional fees".
