08/8/2014 13:05 | I'm not sure if there are any known Orapa kimberlites that aren't diamondiferous so eating of words could be the order of the day. Whether they are commercial or not is another matter. | euclid
08/8/2014 11:22 | Interesting this bet.You have to remember that the 'experts' De Beers turned down what became A6 now Lucara's rich cash producing mine. Alrosa with their different technology have been successful in Siberia. At 2.75p Bod has to be one of the best 'punts' going. All of the Teeling stable have survived over time, and the majority of them have produced good returns for savvy investors.Botewana is the place for diamonds and BOD are there !I think it's a shame that Dan won't take the bet, charities are having a tough time raising funds ! | bandari2
08/8/2014 11:07 | Another non-believer - share price Angel said: "The technology is Russian and could be the 'holy grail' of diamond exploration. We don't like to offend or disagree with the clever guys in Russia but we think this has as much chance of hitting a diamondiferous kimberlite pipe as Dutch investigators have of finding anything useful on a Black Box in the Soviet Republic of Donetsk. We From an investor perspective we look forward to eating our words." Come on JT offer them the same bet. | ruthie
08/8/2014 09:05 | JT has offered Dan Coatsworth of Shares Magazine a bet that BOD will double in price before either Petra or Gem, the shares recommended by Coatsworth in Shares Magazine. The bet is whiskey or a charity of Teelings choice. Eight geologists is a big number | ruthie
08/8/2014 08:40 | Good news release this morning.it is reassuring to see the positive steps being taken by Alrosa in committing more technical people to the project. | bandari2
06/8/2014 23:22 | No, not really, Thinking of topping up myself at 2.50p, May do so this week. | elmfield
06/8/2014 23:13 | elmfield can you write more like that, I can do a top up in a couple of weeks :-) | markfrankie
03/8/2014 18:39 | Can you trust the Russians? | elmfield
03/8/2014 18:20 | Yorgi, we are due an update from the Russians , could be a good week coming up? | ein
29/7/2014 17:03 | yorgi - similar issue with PRG although at least some positive feedback from the management re the delays. FDI, BOD and PRG were always my higher risk shares but given how it seems market sentiment is moving towards diamonds as a more solid investment I think even if 1 out of the 3 is successful I would have made a good profit. Interesting times ahead for all small diamond companies I think. | varrirob
29/7/2014 13:34 | It's about time we did have an update here.....hopefully something meaningful. | yorgi
28/7/2014 22:09 | Yep the TEM survey update, and the drilling on AN117/2, and on an1 an2 and an4 with HOPE that they have small surface expressions due to some or all of them having never actually broken through the surface, And kimberlite ak10 AND our new lands | markfrankie
28/7/2014 17:07 | Second lot of sample results due from Russians | ein
28/7/2014 17:03 | Must be due another update soon I would have thought. | varrirob
25/7/2014 12:51 | Diamond sector focus. Nothing on BOD though.http://www.in | pilot48
19/7/2014 18:07 | Good stuff. | peterz
19/7/2014 17:09 | I very much doubt Botswana will implement any sanctions, so no, wont impact alrosa or bod | markfrankie
19/7/2014 14:17 | I wouldn't have thought so. What's in the ground ain't going anywhere and if Alrosa have to depart the scene for some reason it would leave BOD with 100% of the JV share instead of 50%. Probably a new partner would be needed. | euclid
19/7/2014 13:31 | Will political stuff going on have any impact on business between Russian Co and us. Is there any way BOD could be turned over by our Russian partner?? | peterz
18/7/2014 08:25 | having topped up it will make me feel a lot happier too.......just need to see it in the SP | chapchip
17/7/2014 22:59 | Indeed Chapchip, the Russians are a serious company and have done a lot of extra work around the area, rumour has it they are now quite happy? Which makes me feel happier also. | ein
17/7/2014 22:08 | We live on hope. It's not far away from ak6 so not unrealistic to expect | chapchip
17/7/2014 20:25 | on that note, could ak10 have been overlooked | markfrankie
17/7/2014 19:48 | Yes, the kimberlite that DeBeers were happy to get rid off-and the now produce in the region of 50% of the world's precious stones! | teemore
17/7/2014 17:49 | yes one find of anything that appears commercial and we will be many multiples of todays price. Look what LUC have turned up out of the old AFD kimberlite AK6!!!!!!!! | chapchip |
