Home from work tonight to see the stock up a fraction of what I had expected. I was surprised at all by the great trading update because anecdotally I had heard things had picked up and tracking the on-line data over the internet it was clear to see site visits trending higher. What did surprise me was the increase in on-line sales compared to the rise in visits to the web site. They are clearly converting a lot more visits into orders.

No fear of a dividend cut then, I see another dividend rise at this rate.

What is the yield here? It must be near 8% and we've all just had a big pay out. No debt either. If there's decent growth as forecast here I cannot wait for the action at the interims :-]

Yes a good advance in LFL but why is it that, when the weather has harmed sales it gets emphasised but when the weather's been helpful (like this time), it's nowhere to be seen in the update?

Not added to an existing holding. Sold out a while ago due to concerns. But they've come out with a decent update imo. So a new holding today. Nothing unusual in that!
