By my calculations, i'm seeing fair value at around 221p.

Now that's using my own terminal value and 5 year DCF model... huge scope for error and i wouldn't want anyone taking that above their own research.

But in my view, i'd say a takeout in the 180-200p range would leave some value on the table. So i'm holding...

Of course there's a lot of other options under review, so it may not be a takeover at all once the review is complete.

Techinvest expects a takeover price to be usefully above current level (118p at the time of review). They added 10k@125 and 100k in the MFM technology fund. Wait and see for me.

Does anyone have a view on what BDI could be worth to a suitor? It ticks a lot of boxes...I'm just taking a closer look at it and would be keen to hear your thoughts? Did Techinvest suggest a price?

Techinvest added more to their portfolio last month. They expect a decent premium to current price. Constellation also added recently. Strong Hold imo. dyor

I am watching for the possible delayed posting of a large trade or trades but nothing at the one or two hour delay. End of day perhaps?

Otherwise there is no obvious demand causing such a sharp spike up.

I don't think they do as its a confidential act, while I was invested in SDM there take over of United Wireless was agreed before rns was issued

They may not even be sold , the statement mentioned partnerships or even acquisitions with possible increases in banking facilities to fund the growth of the group. It's anyones guess so i've taken some profits.

Looks to me like Constellation must be favourites.....looks like they have 13M shares incl. non-voting....maybe in this 'offers' mode maybe they can convert if they are highest bidder....

If another buyer then i assume Constellation cld just refuse to sell theirs....so new other buyer wld have Constellation as a large holder...phps making bdi less attractive to other buyer apart from Constellation....
although i have no idea what the rules are in current situation !!

When was that Aishah? Just a risk warning that the current buy price is close to the 140p i thought a fair price target, it may go much higher or lower for that matter so do the maths etc.
