Does anybody understand the difference between there, their and they're. It is very frustrating to have to read such poor understanding of the English language.

Astral, I would tend to agree with you, but l don't think the company is leaky, just people speculating on little or now knowledge... l know some very substantial shareholders myself who are well connected & they tell me nothing & to be honest, not sure l would believe anything that is passed around via Chinese whispers...we all know what is required here... Results!!! As many have already said H2 is very big for BNN.. if they produce this share price will rise rapidly... if they don't quit make the number, but look like there going to get there, again, this share price will rise rapidly... fingers crossed there working hard behind the scenes to ensure they product the substantial numbers, that have been discussed...patience required as we wait for this news in the coming weeks/months... hold tight GLA....

That is very encouraging, although if 3 large shareholders are adding, there must be more selling as the share price continues to flirt with the year lows. This is a leaky ship, we've seen that several times before, so I take more notice of the share price with BNN than I do in other situations.
Personally, without the benefit of being a large shareholder and not 'in the loop' I feel you can probably add 6-12 months onto your time-frame for £2/share, so 12 months to 18 months out, if all goes well would be my estimate. I think the numbers will take longer to come through, the second half will have the benefit of the telco deal and a limited amount from new product launches, but I don't think they will get real traction in the numbers till H1 2018, which won't be reported for quite some time, hence my timescales.

Astralvision I have a similar fear. However I do know 3 large shareholders (one over 1m shares) who purport to be in the know and who I trust, who are adding at these levels and are very comfortable that BNN will be worth around £2/ share in 6 months or so

Must admit, don't like the way the share price is heading. We've seen before with BNN how so called 'insiders' and company releases paint a very positive picture, then the numbers are released and they are garbage. There is more than a suspicion that some folks , perhaps itk, are selling down whilst bulling it up.I do think the interims will be pretty bad on the numbers front, but the narrative needs to reassure that the launches are on track and perhaps something on the numbers for H2 to date. Tempted to add a few, but , on balance, will wait till post interims. Less risk even if you may have to pay more.

Astral,

I see your posts as balanced and fair, although bullish, which is fine, it is a discussion board after all and we are all entitled to hold an opinion, and that's what makes the board, and a market, interesting.

I was just asking CD why he restricted his question to posters that I think on balance are bullish, that was all.

Hi Andy .
I won't be so harsh as Delboy on why I didn't include others on my list .
But I suggest you read the last two posts by PC & Astral to understand why I asked them 😊

I would also describe bull as an investment position in time not a permanent approach for any investment. I have reviewed stocks I am negative on and have sold up on those I feel have a high risk of ultimate failure. So like astral I have been disappointed with the delay in timings of revenue growth, be it was probably going to be like this but the company did not make it clear timescales for rollout in their 2016 RNSs while more recent ones have (e.g. local government one was a good case of explaining length of connector rollout so hopefully lesson learned) and there are always risks like the Nasdaq delay. But right now at 50p+ range and commission from multi billion annual GTVs already well rolling in (with AGM confirmation 2017 revenue targets are valid meaning step increase in H2) I am certainly bull on BNN right now. Roll on trading update which will be in October IMHO unless Ayesha was right (posted last week?) in saying a few weeks time.

Side note - a certain shorter who has posted on here before is getting well shafted on JAY right now as must have shorted at around 13p while price is now around 18p after bullish updates. Nobody gets it "right" all of the time!

AndyI note your description of myself as a 'bull'I wouldn't class myself quite in that light. I'm long, I'm not short on the stock but I've been severely disappointed with the company over the last year or so. Broken promises, forecasts not met, poor IR, there is a long list about which I'm not particularly 'bullish'.I have adjusted my weighting accordingly, there is a great opportunity here, subject to the management being up to the job and the Chinese authorities not changing the goal posts, well not too much. But I can see both the bear case and the bull case.

delboy,

Coming from you I consider that a compliment.

But you failed to respond to the question, are the four bulls named the only people here that "understand the market"?

A central clearing house is s good thing in my opinion as it shows the government wants a regulated mobile payments industry and that the government believes mobile is the future. A clearing house might report on trades but it certainly doesn't publish individual data on trading parties. So I don't think BNN or the bigger boys need to worry about their future data mining capabilities.

Much has been made of the potential value of data held by BNN, but if that advantage is negated by these new rules then that's out the window. You are dealing here with something that is rapidly evolving( i.e. Mobile payments) and it is understandable that the authorities want to exercise greater control. They can't have what will probably end up as a decent chunk of economy effectively completely free from state control and monitoring. Chances are these rules will be the first of many to ensure the authorities retain control.Just have to see how it plays out for BNN, the other established providers have surely more to lose than BNN.

Another view below which highlights other perspective which may help BNN e.g. "What is more, it will also set up the standard fee structure for everyone which may help the smaller companies and hurt the bigger ones."

The risk I could see that applies to everybody else as well, is that the data held by BNN for mobile payment users could be viewed by others via the clearing house but that applies to all and the bigger players have more lose I would say, if that is the case.

BNN tweeted a link to a similar article last week. Must admit, I thought this was an odd move, as assumed would have negative repercussions for BNN?

Real warning signs here of how things can change very rapidly in China.
Not sure if this is good or bad news for BNN, state interference, on balance, is probably bad news.

Lets hope there is not one of those meaningless BNN RNS this week . Or else we could drop into the 40ps. With no news ! we should hang on to 50p as we wait for some news worth releasing.

Yes, August is a quiet month in the markets, that does not mean BNN is quiet, far from it, the numbers working for BNN, the deals and apps launching this half mean that BNN is very busy.
Makes mores sense to update the market in September when folk are back at their desks and announcements will have maximum effect.
