From todays JLP webcast 'should hopefully have an answer on Kabwe within two to three weeks'.

The Zambians have 60 days to reply to the appeal so I think the provisional JV will be extended if necessary to then.

My feeling is if they don't get the licence back its because a third party is in the frame and this is where the Kabwe assets will end up not with Jubilee.

There will come a time though that they (JLP)wont want to keep extending, especially if they feel the BMR BOD have let them down. They may pull out, claim the money back + was it an additional £300K and let BMR go to the wall and then try and pick up the whole lot for a song. So far they are supportive but that may not last if things don't get sorted soon. They are under huge pressure from their own shareholders and new institutional shareholders now.

Possibly, and they have until the end of next week as the deadline for ratification of the JV, though presumably this would be extended if the licence renewal hasn't come through.

Jubilee Metals webcast this thursday could provide some update on Kabwe and then the likelihood of this coming back from suspension

The appeal is in, the Zambian Govt have to reply within 60 days. Jubilee and BMR are hoping for an earlier result. If you read Jubilees RNS from yesterday they appear confident.

That's good then because over at Jubilee, there is discontent amongst the masses. Lets hope the respective BOD's resolve this messy situation to the benefit of shareholders, you know the ones who actually own the companies
