10/4/2014 19:08 | Really silly question.... But how can there be so many sells with no buys? | ![]() 2donaldduck
10/4/2014 18:53 | It wont include q1 2014 figures.....too soon to do that. | ![]() pyglet
10/4/2014 14:24 | Possible they might want to include revenues for first quarter as they will far more reflect the current level of income generation than last year's figures. Perhaps I am just hoping that the company being high growth will provide in depth quarterly figures as most global and US based companies do. A listing in the US would also be useful as it appears to be the main marketplace for the company. | ![]() fromtheblue
10/4/2014 10:12 | A bit of digging concludes that Blloomberg had just followed last years date. They put out an RNS last year at the end of March, giving details of the date etc. WE await the RNS ! | ![]() haydock
09/4/2014 08:26 | Hmm. Figs are due today ? Well according to Bloomberg & they were correct for a whole bunch of Aim tiddlers when I looked a couple of weeks ago. Must be soon ? | ![]() haydock
09/4/2014 08:16 | Yump - maybe you ought to take a hike down to Exeter and visit the co., speak to some of the staff, get a feeling for the business, a lot of jobs being produced there, you might not like what you hear, but why are you persistently commenting about businesses without actually speaking to the people who work there, if you don't like the co. or its business model then I suggest you search elsewhere, I don't really think folks invested here will be swayed by your opinion, they live or die by their own judgement, threads here allow expression but is there any point in constantly criticising the capitalist style of operating, for all its merits or lack so forth! | ![]() bookbroker
09/4/2014 07:18 | perhaps you ought to take those issues up with the company. I'm sure that they would be delighted to be told that they don't work hard. The business was built up for some time before it floated, too. Of course there will be debt its a new company, trying to grow fast. I think there is a certain arrogance to your posts and likely envy. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I think we are in more danger with the general stock market at present, which has an effect across the board of course . imo | ![]() hazl
08/4/2014 23:12 | bookbroker 8 Apr'14 - 22:03 - 1675 of 1676 0 0 "All well and good dissing start-ups, but give the co. some credit, why is it that people in this country resent businesses for trying to make a go of it!" Silly generalisation. Its only a select few companies that are dissed. Can you guess the reason ? Hint: Most startups don't float, most startups work really hard and don't spout BS, most startups have to deal in the reality of their financials or the bank pulls the plug, most startups don't spout their ideas as changing the world, when they're not original ... etc. etc. You get the gist ? | ![]() yump
08/4/2014 22:08 | I don't have an issue with company, merely it's share price. It's a startup yet to listen to Letts talk you'd think it was the second bloody coming. Oh, love you too. | ![]() stegrego
08/4/2014 17:01 | Expected: Horrid numbers, huge losses but lots of words like Trillion to give you a warm glow inside. | ![]() stegrego
08/4/2014 09:40 | Someone seems happy to accumulate at 445p for the last couple of days.......... | ![]() stuart37
08/4/2014 08:53 | Mkt reaction in advance of the figs expected today ? | ![]() haydock

07/4/2014 14:17 | Big sells today but share price holding up would have thought it would have retraced a bit more!Last year results were posted on 2nd Tuesday of April.....so it could be tomorrow! | ![]() pyglet
07/4/2014 09:59 | Indeed its a tricky thing...we would be rich each of us if we knew. This share and those like it are perceived as high risk/reward, everybody that knows about shares, knows this, the clue again is there....don't bet the family farm on it....you could lose everything. However if it wins....it wins big. Specific to this share, is the fact that it doesn't have a large amount of shares in issue available....we all know that that means that it can go up and down very rapidly. The way I see it and to answer the initial parts of your post....though I don't know why I waste time on you, there seems to be a certain bitterness to your posts, Blur has had a tremendous amount of support to get this project off the ground and that support shows that those entities have a strong belief in them. The firms that use their services in some instances are spending huge amounts of money. This company is different to a tiny little firm that just kicks off with a small staff. It may succeed, it may not, but nothing you or I say will make a jot of difference to that outcome. Why you seek to belittle peoples' choices on which shares people choose to spend their money on, I don't know, isn't it up to them? You also speak as if shares that 'follow the conventional route' are always safer, some will be but there are plenty of examples where profit warnings and unexpected events can turn a seemingly safe company into a disaster. I repeat there are no guarantees in this game, I wouldn't bet the family farm on any share but have tried to get a mix of shares myself across different sectors that provide a range of risk and excitement. Incidentally you wont find a single post from me when it was 700/800p earlier in the year but I post now because I feel it is over sold. It may go down further it may not but the stock market isn't always rational. Each to their own. imo | ![]() hazl
07/4/2014 08:10 | hazl You've missed out the crucial bit of brain work on how you pick which ones are not going to follow the 'traditional route' (whatever that can be bent to mean) and which ones are going to get hyped up and then crash. Its a minor point, but there are a lot of the latter. | ![]() yump
06/4/2014 17:21 | some stocks also don't follow the traditional route its a good thing we are not al l closed minded imo | ![]() hazl
06/4/2014 17:12 | You're probably right, there isn't half a lot of random rubbish out there. | ![]() yump
06/4/2014 15:37 | I thought exactly the same. The good ones seem too fake to be fake though! | ![]() stegrego
06/4/2014 15:13 | I just checked out the reviews on trustpilot. Quite funny. I can buy better fake 'good' reviews than some of those for a few quid a pop. What on earth are they about ? The only one that appears properly written and natural is the bad one. | ![]() yump
06/4/2014 15:01 | "volatility" same old euphemisms to explain stock specific share price drops. I suppose there'll always be some innocents who buy the BS | ![]() yump
06/4/2014 12:31 | expect a bit of volatility with that Nasdaq drop but be interesting to see what happens as prelims loom | ![]() hazl
05/4/2014 22:10 | In that case it was posted at $217m for at least 9 hours. | ![]() pyglet
05/4/2014 21:46 | Malhashemi ! No you not going mad, i too saw that $213M and $16M added on as biggest project to this morning at 06.12hrs! I finishing night shift, notice yes it's gone for now! Sure someone jumped the Gun by posting that this morning! The recent 15M was put out as an RNS so this will be on Monday at 7AM , maybe results added as well IMO ! So sit tight! | ![]() mcgrath1959 |
