Xclusive, can you give me an example of when our glorious leader, who has gone very quite over the last 12 mths or so, has done anything right ? Fekking disgraceful & a classic example of an AIM CEO. Not one aspect of this rather laughable Co. has gone right for ages & he's meant to have good relations with the Greenlandic Govt. ? Laughable really if I hadn't lost so much money on this sh1tfest. RM should be ashamed but hasn't stuck his head over the parapet for quite some time has he ?
He should be appearing on a podcast apologising to shareholders for his lamentable performance. In a bigger Co. he would have been booted a long time ago.

Albany,

It's very sad that people are suffering across the population BUT we will get through it.

JAY isn't going under, it can mothball operations and exist for another 18 months probably especially if our RM makes the right decisions. As far as i'm concerned, all AIM Directors who are drawing large salaries need to lead from the front and take zero pay when cash flow is at risk.

Businesses going under ? yep there will be many but the stronger ones will continue with help and unfortunately weaker ones will struggle, isn't that the way of the world ?

As per the link above, there are positives and i choose to focus on them and stay positive for my family and the many staff i have working for me. I'm cognisant of all the issues facing the world BUT we will get through it and hopefully become stronger from this horrible experience.

JAY share price is the least of my worries, i agree with you that a cheap takeout is possible but going under ? no chance.

Shipping restriction, flight restrictions the whole world going into recession there will be little or no progress until next year when the company if still in existence in the current form which seems very unlikely will need money, realistically if it's worth anything one of the big boys will pick it up for next nothing. I bought in at 18p rising to 25p and topped up all the way down my average price is now 9p this share will never see 9p again unless a takeover is in the offing, my guess is 2p possibly less sometime early April don't forget the bad news about covid 19 is not even began to come out yet wait till death toll starts to rise by 100s per day pubs forced to shut companys issuing redundancies and profit warning just look at shares market down 3-4% bu share price drops 20% on only a million shares traded. I will sell half tomorrow at a massive loss to treat myself and put other half in an account for my Great Great Grandson to buy something possibly a Greggs Stake Bake . Sorry just very very depressed by this share, that I had high hopes for no more share dealing for me I've learnt my lesson.

This was released today:
Good news I would suggest in that there is no suggestion of permitting being put on hold, indeed the implication is that it's full steam ahead. As far as I know the only thing holding up our consultation process is that the documentation has yet to be presented in Danish and Greenlandic.

Mr HSBC (who share price Angel thinks might be someone of huge influence)has about a 10% holding. So their average share price is probably about 12p ish based on the first 5% being in March 18 (I think). So that would equate to around a 12.5mil investment which is now worth 2.6mil. So a 10 mil loss currently.

Surely they'll want to turn that loss into a profit. So if that is RT then surely they'll show their hand once exploitation licence secured, or before.

The silence regarding RT shipment might be that they don't want to publish their findings as it will encourage competitors to the table. The rest of the shipment might still be with RT as maybe they know that they are 'in' they are just waiting for the licence to be obtained to remove any risk.

Am I way off the mark here?

Yes, thank you BBB.

Some observations or facts -;

- Sp now 67% discount from recent placing level
- Haven't seen any TR1s re large players capitulating
- Can mothball operations.
- Directors and staff can take salary payment holidays or reduce the amounts
- They have cash in the bank to probably last to mid 2021, longer if prudent measures taken

The market has gone made, leveraged players are being punished and there will be a time in the not too distant when logic will return and with it a buying frenzy. My biggest concern is the 'predator' angle and a subservient seller ie the institutions who may want to get out, let's hope i'm miles off base on this one.

2x Bluejay licence applications have turned from red to blue (i.e. applications granted) this evening: -

- Kangerluarsuk extension (MEL 2020-06)
- West Disko new licence (MEL 2020-10)

Greenland's first confirmed case:
The Government's response seems to be roughly in line with most European countries. As you say PC, I doubt if they will close the country down completely, but there will be restrictions.

bigboyblue

Not sure they would want to close the country down but strict controls would be in place. One scenario could be to allow workers to arrive in Greenland, self-isolate for 2 weeks then test to be sure (or do this before flying to Greenland?), if all clear then they can commence work. At the moment Greenland has no confirmed cases at all so I am sure they would like to keep it that way if they can. Saying that, Iceland has 180 active cases right now and even the Seychelles has 2 cases, so only a matter of time?

In the mean time the exploitation licence can be secured at least but guess forward work plans are under review to see what can be achieve in these circumstances.

This stock is now becoming junk. A ridiculous sell off today in excess of general markets.
uggy100

Quite likely. They won't want swarms of foreign workers coming into Greenland for a while. No reason why our permit application shouldn't proceed however, and at least when that happens we become worth more than we are now.

I don't like to make things worse than they already are, but as far as I'm aware the 8 weeks consultation hasn't started yet. I'd be very happy to be corrected on this.

We're in good shape, newsflow still to come, next month hopefully, after 8 week consultation. Exploitation license, then take off agreement. Hope Rio are still interested, they should know by now. Bound to be someone else interested, unless the whole world is come to a complete standstill.
