Two further measures which apply to us have been announced by the Greenland Government. The first is the postponement of administrative fees, normally paid quarterly, until mid 2021. The second is the facility to use some of the funds held in escrow accounts. If this option is exercised we would have to repay the funds within 2 years.

Updated covid 19 rules for Greenland:
Limited numbers can enter Greenland from 15th June and go to work after 5 days quarantine. It looks like there could still be a drilling programme this year.

Couldn't these guys be in a great position to profit from the US/China interest in Greenland ?

Strong bounce off the 100day MA, which is good to see.

No fireworks there I'm afraid but somebody(s) creates the volume spike and i don't believe it is a P&D exercise. Still hoping for some material news to restart the momentum.

Seems that you are not the only one taking profits today Tomv, although I expect most are sitting on a bit more that 4% :)

Like you I was disappointed to see smelting still slated for 2021. I was hoping for at least the chance of a late 2020 date. Overall a decent statement but nothing to suggest the reason for our recent price movement.

Results out and more importantly Chairman's statement. Everything as expected but a few additional snippets buried in the text.

Possibility of work in 2020 still, Kangerluarsuk mapping indicating a 40M thick source, Danish and Greenlandic JAY holdings was transferred into the Greenlandic Pension Fund, so all three entities hold equal thirds, JAY is now the largest operational landholder in Greenland. Only negative (apart from Covid delay) is RTIT smelter tests still stated as 2021 even if pilot plant gets up and running again.

JAY haven't even started drilling yet and they are surrounded by potential partners or speculators with licences! Don't understand the potential of that latest license they've secured for the reason you mention BBB, but maybe a land grab for potential sell-on later, if others are tempted and JAY prove the potential of Disko which just could be massive.

The only outstanding licence application on Disko (no 107) has been announced today. The licensee is Challenge Holdings. People who have been following this will recall that Challenge is a private company, director Sebastian Marr, and they already have 2 parcels of land, one on the island and one on the mainland.

This most recent one is a large area, 1072sq km, although as I have previously mentioned most of it is under ice all year round.

Taking a breather day I would say. Some of those who were lucky enough to buy right at the recent bottom have a 100% profit on those buys right now so always tempting to bank some or even all. But that will do for now and JAY haven't even stated anything yet!

Nothing goes straight up and I will be happy with a few days consolidation at these levels.

Not much volume in terms of selling today.

Think momentum up to around 8p is still there xclusive2 if it can hold today and have the expectation of JAY announcing in the next few weeks what they plan to do this year, which is a bonus as far as I am concerned.

RE: off topic conversation, please find another FBBB if you wish to continue, this FBBB is for JAY please!

Apologies if I offended you.

FWIW Blair took this country to an illegal war in Iraq and the slaughter and subsequent rise of ISIS is down to him and Bush and he should have been prosecuted.

This country is quite capable as the 5th largest economy of standing on it's own two feet in the world and is best of leaving the EU which is in chaos at present.
