04/8/2018 17:14 | Is there any way the institutions holdings can be seen or do we have to wait for an official update advising holdings have dropped below declarable levels? I can't see that retail sellers are responsible for some of the big sales over recent weeks and suspect a drip feed from the instis. Just guessing and looking for a reason for the persistent selling when so much is "imminent"! We are at least holding steady at the lower end of our trading range but the parameters are widening lower and the drops are very slow but nevertheless, they are there and it's a definite downward trend. On the plus side there are one or two decent buys to off-set some selling so grateful for those. | graham10k

04/8/2018 09:46 | 25wbh - good of you to visit this thread in order to try and sell Alba! Alba needs a geologist as ceo/exec chairman, in my opinion, to run a company which is exploring in Greenland. That person also has to spend time 'on the ground'. Why don't you telephone or email Mr Frangeskides and find out how many times he has visited the likes of Amitsoq and Alba's other tenements e.g. Thule and where he stayed. Having said that for some Alba could be a trading stock. | snowyflake
04/8/2018 09:40 | citytilidie - JAY is for me an investment stock. It is not a stock for spivs and we thankfully do not have the rampers and derampers with the rampers continuously stating that it is a 10 bagger from here when they have limited knowledge about what they have invested in! | snowyflake
04/8/2018 08:12 | Hi Guys, Little Alba got a mention on page 101 in the Daily Mail (Stock Watch) Mentions our interests in Greenland re Graphite Rgds all B | 25wbh
03/8/2018 23:44 | It's a tightly held share with a lot of good knowledgable holders. We don't have the fluctuations that most shares have and hopefully it will stay that way until Bluejay are taken over. Personally I think Disko will be taken over first once they're floated off. It won't be long. | citytilidie
03/8/2018 23:02 | That really is the Limbo dancing king of “under the Radar” (c)A Lord Webber lol. | rampair
03/8/2018 18:34 | Going by out Flag Counter in the header, on this, the only JAY thread on ADVFN, I’m astonished by how little awareness there seems to be of this company out there. Compared with the flag counter on VRS, which I thought was relatively ‘under the radar’ we don’t even get to the starting line here. Versarien’s average hit could since April is over 3000 per day from a total of 92,000 visitors from 99 countries. Several days with over 10k hits. Looks like we are the undiscovered gem after all! Only 77 of us have visited this thread all day so far. Topping up at these bargain prices before the herd arrives would seem sensible. | shavian
03/8/2018 15:42 | Yes Albanylad, I don't know where all the sales come from. Bear in mind that 74% of the shares are owned by tier 1 investors and the BoD and associates, and we'd know if they were selling. It must be from the other 26%, who presumably are impatient, bored or think they have found a better home for their money. I don't like to see the share price going down, but I take the view that since I don't need the money tomorrow, I'll wait. As Snowy says, an off take agreement will completely change the picture. | bigboyblue
03/8/2018 14:28 | Albany Lad - it was made clear by the ceo at the agm that once an off take agreement falls into place that will start a chain of news. There is one company who I believe will want our ilmenite but the frustrating thing for shareholders is the time that a buyer takes to clear hurdles. But if there is a particular buyer in mind, there are of course others. I have a large holding and know others who have holdings larger than mine. As I have mentioned in the past if Sierra Rutile was acquired by Iluka in December 2016 for a knock down price of £250 million including debt, you can rest assured that our current Tier 1 investors will not sell Dundas in the same way. Dundas has value - special value. And do not forget Bluejay is not a one trick pony and is headed by a very able geologist. | snowyflake
03/8/2018 13:27 | I get concerned about all the largish sales, I have been buying and topping up from 17p right up to 26p so showing a considerable loss at the moment I know fundamentals look very good but, I am holding a considerable amount of stock in this for me having sold all but one of other investment. Would love to get some positive official news soon just to get back to break even and aid some easier nights sleep. Just a bit of Friday afternoon blues hopefully things look better soon, although the pictures on Twitter look promising. GLA Albanylad | albanylad1
03/8/2018 07:59 | I think we will get money for our “run of mine” samples, but we are stockpiling the raw Ilmenite in preparation for when our mining licence comes in. I don’t know how many of you have seen some of the Twitter pictures but there are a couple that show the excavators and sand separation - against a background of enormous raised beaches of Ilmenite containing sand. The scale really shows when you see what look like tiny Earth movers loading trucks with tyres the size of the average family car! | rampair
03/8/2018 03:53 | Thanks Ramp, So earning a million every week is a start! How joyful it would be to hear of a signed off take. It is a brilliant day to release that news. Cheers | moreminer
03/8/2018 01:35 | Moreminer I think payment is being received, similarly, we are allowed to stockpile too. The Greenland Govt has been enormously helpful. We will be a taxpayer and employer! Also, we are starting at Disko as well we mustn’t forget, some interesting new technologies appearing in remote sensing. Plus, we have already proven a working Sulphide system at Disko last year. It’s a big deal the potential Nickel/ Cu available that’s being targeted . R. | rampair
02/8/2018 16:40 | Did they ever state how many tonnes they needed for this years season? I have a faint memory that they did but 5000 in 7 days is pretty good going. | sheep_herder
02/8/2018 15:27 | Would be nice to know if cash is coming in for these samples. It all could add up. | moreminer

02/8/2018 11:52 | Rio Tinto reported underlying EBITDA for its Energy & Minerals group was US$1.04 billion in 1H 2018. Performance was impacted by the suspension of operations at Rio Tinto Fer et Titane (RTFT) following a fatality, and at Richards Bay Minerals (RBM) due to ongoing disruptions by contractors and their employees. Gross sales revenues for the product group were US$2.86 billion. Underlying demand for titanium dioxide strengthened in 1H 2018. High-grade feedstock supply remains tight. www.riotinto.com 1 August 2018 | rampair

02/8/2018 08:46 | TBC: there's a big photo gallery at the foot of the Dundas section on the website, including several I have not seen previously. Unfortunately they are neither titled nor dated so we cannot be sure which if any are from the present season. If anyone is in close touch with JAY perhaps we could ask for an update with dates and titles? | shavian |
