Wow, somebody has been busy tonight. Every single post since the 27th June has suddenly received a red thumbs down. I wonder if this individual had anything to do with the recent unusual selling patterns. Just a thought like.

re:small trades

I wonder if it's DMA traders searching for stops or hidden orders?

As a sign of respect to Macca, I'll be adding a 666 on my orders next week.

So no 6666 trades today, pity! Darn that Lazy sitting Duck.

Anyway, normally I am very lazy, but this one I have researched and care to share with you.
The secret of the 6666 trades.

The role of numbers in determining luck

The role of numbers in determining luck has a long history in Chinese
culture . For example, it is
said that in the Forbidden City there are 9999 rooms. When buying a house or choosing a telephone number or a license plate number for one's automobile, the choice is generally made with an eye to the perceived luckiness of the available numbers.

The number 2 is considered lucky because 'all good things come in
pairs', it has been observed. The number 6 is an example of the sound
byte association mentioned above: "six" is pronounced "liu" in Mandarin
Chinese, which sound byte is close to the sound byte for the Mandarin
Chinese word which means "flowing, smooth, or frictionless", therefore
the number 6 is considered very lucky, especially where it occurs in
multiples. So highly is the number 6 prized, in fact, that a motorcycle
dealership in Zengcheng in Guangdong Province paid the net sum of RMB
272,000 (USD $34,000) for a motorcycle license plate bearing the number
AW6666.

I'll be loading up at these prices hopefully sometimes next week when funds are cleared, well surprised that there wasn't a little pop in the price this morning with the Rio article .

What's with these piffling little (apparent) AT sell trades which keep going thru. I have noticed a plethora of these for the past few days. Always around the same amount (550 today), yesterday a couple of dozen around the 750 mark, day before, the same.
And previous days by and large. Can any of the larger brained individuals who frequent this thread help this obtuse Northern no-mark out with an explanation?
Muchos obligos.

Many thanks Rampair for your explanation. I still can't help wondering why, with so much going for JAY and the recent suggestion of interest from RIO there isn't more action in the share price Normally there would be a flurry of interest but we seem to be dried out! Take out expectations normally see's an increase in trading and i wouldn't have thought this prospect was fully included in the current valuation. Maybe the selling will slow up even if the buying doesn't improve. Again, thanks for clarification.

Graham 10k, if you look at the Mineral Assemblage analysis of Bluejays Ilmenite, it has a %’age of TiO2 - Ilmenite is FeTiO3 it’s a ratio. The Madagascar Ilmenite is decent,
However have you checked Madagascar recently? It’s not like the Film.
Our Ilmenite has a decent %age of TiO2. Its in Greenland and if you research where RIO
Titané e Fer is, you will see it’s in Quebec- that’s somewhat nearer than Madagascar.

Richards Bay, RIOs other Titanium plant has it’s own issues as it’s situated in rural Kwa Zulu Natal and people keep getting keen on nicking the power lines, and last year I think RIO declared Force Majeure due to roaster failure?.
It was all built in the 1970’s it’s a bit of an older plant apparently and a the thinking behind RIO
being interested in us is very simple - their plant in Quebec is off the main river
of the St Lawrence seaway, basically head South from Moriusaq, turn West into the St Lawrence seaway etc etc. From what I can see, they have spare capacity.
RIO used to serve 12% of the Worlds TiO2 needs, it’s own reserve is now 50 or 60 years worked, a big pit, blast and haul rock and crush it to get the Ilmenite out.

Very likely RIO may be looking at the Itelak results. They may well be interested in
Offtake or Purchase, but they are a large entity and decisions of these nature are partly political- this is where we hold a very good card. Greenland is virgin ground, there’s predicted to be masses of projects here, if a company like RIO
Or even Tronox, Lomons etc want a foothold in this massive province, we are a great way in.

Obviously these are my opinions and I’m writing as a shareholder, so with that note
I would suggest a bit of research !

R.

Graham. Normal protocol in the English language, when two things are different, they're given different names. E.g. Ilmenite Vs TiO2

From the above link comes the comment;

"The Dundas project, formerly the Pituffik titanium project, is at an advanced stage and has a total resource of 96-million tonnes at 6.9% ilmenite. This includes the newly identified area of mineralisation at Iterlak Delta, where Bluejay is currently undertaking an exploration programme."

However, from this link; comes the comment;

"The ilmenite mined in Madagascar contains 60 per cent titanium dioxide (TiO2) making it a higher quality than most other global sources."

So with Ilmenite at 60% from Madagascar to 6.9% from Dundas, why would RIO be attracted to JAY?

A buyout now would be awful wouldn't it? What's share price Angel's target price and timeline? Have they done DCF or something else?

John Meyer is a mining analyst and partner in S P Angel. S P Angel are Nomad and joint broker to the company.

Hannam were not appointed recently as you imply but last year (see RNS 2017)

Do you think John Meyer knows something that we don't? The appointment of Hannam triggered my juices but Meyer's involvement here does date back. I suppose I am intrigued by Meyer's reasoning

Either way JAY is the proverbial sitting duck imho

where was this note posted from share price Angel and when?

thebigchap

Interesting that share price Angel should put out a note saying that RIO should consider buying Bluejay!
Well it’s out there now and the facts are that JAY has a large amount of cheap Ilmenite sand that would suit their production base in Quebec. Potentially this could prove to be a very useful relationship for all parties not least us because with a 45p
broker target, We would make/a reasonable return. If we were to hit ultra high grade
sands at Itelak delta then maybe we would be selling ourselves short.

They are Based in Quebec and South Africa, I’m sure a little digging will find details!

All about Richards bay,Their South African Mine.

Good morning this beautiful morning in Europe again!

I must admit I am a slight bit dis-appointed in the news flow of the last few months.

Is it my very un-patient nature, sorry about that, or is it indeed taking a wee bit longer then expected.

I recall that we are promised to receive news on various subjects; progress on Disko, resource up-dates etc. etc. etc.
I even dare not say the word off-take's.

Cheers, good summer all. MM
