Posted at 22/5/2025 13:09 by gb904150 Still a lot of uncertainty here.On the face of it this news was positive. Batangas must surely, on its own be worth more than the £4m mcap here? 440koz JORC resources, maiden ore reserve 128koz, $20m already spent getting it this far. But, if they sold it they would be left with the 2 SK projects, neither of which seem to move. Almost zero progress has been made with them over several years. If they don't sell it, they're stuck with a local partner who wanted all of it. What's the betting the local partner is the one who holds all the cards - they've got (at least some) money and they can afford to sit on the project until such time that BMV are desperate to sell. Meanwhile, BMV will be out of cash towards the end of the year. They are in a pretty poor negotiating position it seems to me. Do we even know who the local partner for Batangas is? I can't see any RNS that told us: ....a Philippine company, whose owners have decades of experience in mining.... is all we've been told. I preferred the old structure with the free carry: The staged agreement is based on the JV partner achieving defined development goals and provides Bluebird with a free carry on the development of Batangas with a view to advancing to construction. 'JV structure provides Bluebird with a free carry to production decision in return for 60% of the project equity.' Long term shareholder value destruction here. Despite the gold bull. Only solace is that directors had the decency to back the project significantly too. They have been unfortunate in some ways. |
Posted at 15/5/2025 09:36 by oliversydney As the last placing was at 1 pence so with this news should be at least that price so looks like an good entry point especially any further news to come |
Posted at 15/5/2025 08:07 by greenlane78 Every dog has its days. I think the company will achieve a breakthrough this time. I can see the share price moving up to 1 p level soon. |
Posted at 15/5/2025 08:07 by hekriverfarm 15 May 2025Bluebird Mining Ventures Ltd ('Bluebird' or 'the Company') Potential Sale Opportunity - Philippines Project Bluebird Mining Ventures Ltd., a pan Asian gold project development company, is pleased to provide a further update following the announcement on 6 May 2025 with regards to the permit renewal at its flagship Philippine project. On 17 February 2025, the Company announced that it was "…actively exploring avenues for potential early monetisation" given what the Directors believe is a value disconnect between the current market capitalisation and the Philippine gold project alone, particularly as the price of gold has now risen above $3,000 per oz since that announcement and the permit has subsequently been renewed as announced on 6 May 2025. The Company's local partner has, post the renewal of the permit, expressed an interest in acquiring all of Bluebird's remaining project interest. The Company will now enter into discussions with a view to determine if this may potentially be the best path to create most value for shareholders. The Company wishes to place emphasis on the fact that no formal offer has been received and there can be no guarantee that an offer will be received or if it would result in an agreement being concluded. Bluebird Executive Director and Interim CEO Aidan Bishop said, "The recent renewal in the Philippines is clearly a positive development and given the advanced nature of the project it is encouraging to see a growing level of interest. I look forward to updating the market in due course." |
Posted at 06/5/2025 19:25 by barry7376 Pieces falling in to place. Price of gold $3400 per oz, Batangas getting permits/license to mine, possible sale of Batangas assets and MTUP for Korea hopefully granted within the next 6 weeks by end Q2. Re-rate of share price incoming. |
Posted at 06/3/2025 13:50 by gb904150 As interesting as the projects are here the last RNS for news by Q2 2025 was very disappointing. That plus Colin Patterson stepping down and what that means for the future leadership of BMV and his 85m shares adds to the uncertainty. In South Korea, the decision regarding the Mountain Temporary Use Permit ('MTUP') for the Kochang Gold and Silver Mine ('Kochang') from the Board of Audit and Inspection ('BAI'), has unfortunately been delayed and is now expected in Q2 2025 Hope they get things sorted and I've held in the past but for now I'll wait for things to clear up. |
Posted at 22/1/2025 11:25 by determined He's always confident!!How many years has this been dragged out for now?? Look at the active gold miners and see how their share prices are soaring, why on earth would you remain invested here when other companies are making so much money for their shareholders? |
Posted at 17/1/2025 13:46 by highley1 TW's pumping it again, usual MO, the share price falls off with little volume, and then he does another promotion and some buying comes in. |
Posted at 25/10/2024 07:29 by meanreverter “The principal firm of Optimo, Align Research, and its Director are one of the largest shareholders in BMV.”I don't consider this necessarily to be a source of bias; it could just as well be seen as a vote of confidence. Speaking for myself, as a simple-minded person, I tend to hold shares that (accurately or not) I see as having good prospects, and not those with a poorer outlook. I don't understand anyone who has the opposite policy. |
Posted at 18/10/2024 08:51 by highley1 Sadly irrelevant as this company don't produce any gold yet, after all these years! It's hard to credit why people remain invested here when there are so many gold producing stocks that are shooting up as aresult of the all time high price in gold.. Why not invest in a solid producer that is adding profit to the bottom line? IF BMV ever get their permits, there will be time to invest, albeit at a slightly higher price but minus the risk, and in the meantime your money will be going up somewhere else. |
