normal course of action is for brokers to ramp/move up share sharply and then do a deeply discounted fund raise...no sign of that here..

Whatever, they do then its a discounted Placing. just look at the chart!!

Unless people think a Placing will be done at 3p

My main question is why have they not raised or secured debt before getting to this stage and having to scare investors with comments in the AR. Im guessing its not straight forward

I don't disagree with your last points abut the general markets being over valued but I doubt these little companies are!

There will be some tech and high-growth companies that lose a lot, I expect, but that is a different matter.
You do the rounds on these little shares, and I feel sorry for management especially when they appear to be doing a good job .

Agreed, the markets are currently tough and the main markets (DOW, NASDAQ) way overvalued, IMO.


Sadly if they correct, so will everything else.

I didn't say you were inside, you are not making authoritative statements like cool is.


Yes he could mean there is no 'discounted' placing coming, I had considered that, but again how could he say that with authority? He either knows, or is making it up.


And a discount against what, today's price? What happens if it falls further, will they place at a premium?


Currently placings are generally being discounted due to general market sentiment IMO, so I would be surprised if they mananaged a placing at a premium.


There are other ways of raising of course, warrants, offtake agreements, but they are still dilution.

I said they won't do a discounted raise ! People are speculating of a discounted raise . Numerous posts trying to presume and guess this is the case . Call it what you will , I'm speculating/guessing this isn't the case !

He hasn't denied there's a placing coming. He's denied there is a discounted placing coming. That's how I read it anyway.. I'm not inside. I've held these in the past and know they'll be worth holding in the future, ergo keeping an eye out for an entry

I'm not trying to instil fear at all, the company themselves have stated they will need additional funds (mining companies normally do!), as you will see if you read the Deacon's post above, where he quotes the company.


My issue is cool is stating they won't raise as a fact, when the only way he can know this if he is inside, and if he is, he should not be posting inside information on a public BB.


I'm negative most AIM stocks because I see erosion of shareholder value by constant dilution.


I think the markets in general are overvalued, so am waiting with plenty of dry powder for a correction.
