17/11/2018 21:17 | hazl, Not covering myself at all, They raised a fairly modest sum, at a premium to the current shareprice, in a difficult market for current mining juniors. The price hardly rose on the news, and fell slightly on Friday, hence my "market has discounted the news" comment, which looks accurate if you check out the price. A low gold price is clearly not helping anyone, especially the gold juniors' | andy
17/11/2018 20:08 | Thanks for creating the thread Skyship Might be worth considering adding a direct link to the CPR,lots of good info | bo doodak
17/11/2018 16:29 | Hmm covering yourself there what?! Gold price of course ...or the future gold price will be the catalyst. You are right, to raise at a premium was good. Discounted? I doubt it...I think the market hasn't been kind to many just now especially miners. Well done BMV,raising at a premium bodes well and is worth repeating. | hazl
17/11/2018 15:58 | Hazl, As I said, good people will have noted the use of the word "premium" the first time, so to carry on repeating the word looks desperate to me, and I'm a cynic, because I understand how stock promotion works. To have raised at a premium was good, of course, but the market already seems to have discounted it. On the plus side gold must be due a bounce at some point soon, and that should carry all the beaten up mining juniors a little higher when it does. | andy
17/11/2018 15:23 | I have created a new BMV thread, one which I hope updates sufficiently. Please take a look and let me know of any edits or additions you might suggest. Hopefully you might then join me on the new thread: | skyship
17/11/2018 15:20 | Please feel free to recommend edits or additions. Post on this thread and I will consider any Header amendments. | skyship
16/11/2018 09:43 | OK TSMITH What about this ... Gold price up,and the prospect of interest rate rises changed.... 'The political turbulence reignited investor anxiety over Brexit, with markets no longer pricing in a rise in interest rates next year' IMO | hazl
16/11/2018 00:16 | Instead of accelerated options, it would be better if they found and pressed the accelerator. | bo doodak
15/11/2018 22:27 | Didn't the Directors once give an assurance that there wouldn't be a Placing until the share price reflected the true value of the Company? Well, we now know the value of the Company, between 2 and 2.5p. | pj 1
15/11/2018 21:47 | Yes, a bit like you keep in repeating the same thing too | tsmith2
15/11/2018 21:46 | Not at all. Anything that promotes the company, marketing it is very sensible. You seem to be the only one that has a problem with it in my opinion. Investors prepared to pay a premuium in such difficult markets ought to be celebrated! | hazl
15/11/2018 19:35 | hazl, It smacks of desperation that they feel the need to keep repeating the word. Once is enough, good people will get it the first time. | andy
15/11/2018 17:01 | For you perhaps. Premium needs to be emphsised for those hard of hearing. I think silver seems to be a bit of a buzz word at the moment but I could be wrong.... | hazl
15/11/2018 12:51 | I think they're overdoing the use of the word "premium" personally. No need to keep repeating it, once would have been enough. | andy
15/11/2018 11:54 | Did we know the bit shown below; as that is yet another positive? No need to spin this. Clearly the subscribers are existing holders needing to anti up with ongoing working capital requirements. In doing so they are averaging down their cost price, but prepared to do so at a 25% premium to what appears to be an oversold share price That 2.5p and the higher levels for warrant conversions, evidences a reasonable measure of confidence. Personally I bought a very, very small holding much higher up; and on today's RNS I too have averaged down today. ==================== "In addition to the Private Placement, funding of USD 750,000, provided by CEO, Colin Patterson, which was first announced on 19 December 2017, will also be converted at the premium price of GBP 0.025. These shares will be issued subject to publication of a prospectus at a future date." ==================== | skyship
15/11/2018 10:58 | Very true digger! | hazl
15/11/2018 10:54 | Great to see that the BOD and others have confidence here and are willing to back this up with their own money. Unlike a lot of small plays where death spiral finance is arranged to benefit the finance companies at the expense of investors. Looking forward to the test results. | digger2779
15/11/2018 10:26 | Colin Patterson, CEO, commented: "We are pleased to have completed a premium Private Placement given the current market conditions. This demonstrates the confidence in our South Korean projects and in the progress that has been made as we continue to move towards our goal of reopening the mines. "We look forward to updating the market in the next few weeks regarding metallurgical test results from the Kochang gold and silver mine." NOTE Next few weeks....... | hazl
15/11/2018 10:15 | It bodes well for the future. IMO | hazl
15/11/2018 10:13 | At a premium! I missed this! Brilliant....come on Bluebird Ventures! | hazl
15/11/2018 08:24 | Thanks for sharing | cool runnings
15/11/2018 08:21 | If they had paid a premium at highs around 3.5p plus then I may have got excited. But paying a premium near the bottom of an 8 month sell off? I'm ignoring the premium and reviewing it as a much needed Placing at 2.5p in isolation. Whilst not bad news it hardly inspires any more confidence. All IMO, DYOR tec. | pj 1
15/11/2018 08:09 | Excellent news | tsmith2 |
