As Bo says in 985 above: "It will be interesting to see how they choose to fund their half of the upcoming substantial developments costs, given the frequent reference to avoiding dilution at this low share price."

That remains the key conundrum; and any amount of positives on the Mining Update front are perhaps irrelevant.

If they could bring in a new partner (at the right price of course) or sign up a deal to sell forward future production, then for sure this would double overnight.

In the meantime the drift through the 2.8p support might suggest further drift to 2.5p...

hazl,

I knew Clive from his previous company, Beowulf, and I have met the team at TW's show in London a couple of times.

I was originally attracted because they were near the Medusa mine in Mindanao where Medusa are, and I have followed Medusa for years so know a bit about the area. I liked their original plan to buy from local miners and toll process.

I think this was plan scuppered by Duterte winning power and closing some environmentally damaging mines.

The main thing is to look at the fundamentals, the sector, the management and the jurisdiction.
If you like what you see then you have a choice.
It's on the lines of what I did before the word 'Align' even came up.

But you know what ?
It has brouht a bit of 'footfall' to this board and more posts which shows people are looking.......

IMO

Apologies Sky I have been elsewhere most of the day....we are having a new bathroom fitted and it is causing disruption!

Perhaps I ought to have phrased it differently Andy, you are quite right and apologies to you too.
What attracted to you to this company before you knew of the Align report?

I have quite a few reasons but it would be interesting to hear from others.
The sector has to be right for any positive action and of course any good vibes from the company as well.

Unconventional company

It will be interesting to see how they choose to fund their half of the upcoming substantial developments costs, given the frequent reference to avoiding dilution at this low share price.

Mom Res is the largest shareholder (I recall?) and a few $M is probably chump change to them, with salaries already being deferred for shares.

skyship,

It would be for Sp Angel clients only.

It was written in March 2018.

Why not just read the Align note? it comes to the same conclusion price target wise apparently.

Thnx to eeza, I now have the reference:

"If you have a note written by share price Angel, one of London's leading mining brokers, headed by respected mining analyst John Meyer...."

Does anyone please have a link to that research?

Hazl - I don't share Andy's perfectly legitimate concerns re commissioned research. Over the years I have benefitted massively from such reports by EDISON.

There was a comment earlier re some other broker research - is that available do you know?

I am currently unable to search back on the thread - a problem I shall now report to ADVFN...

You seem to have a lot to say for somebody who is no longer interested.

There is a lot to be positive about for BMV.
Our geographical position is favorable currently, not least of which we have the Government's amicability.
An important point on it's own.
The mine is already there so I don't think that is so relevant ,with regard to the geology.

I look forward with enthusiasm to their progress as they say!

hazl,

Yes it has generated a few posts, which is positive.

I just see it as desperation, share price Angel are a proper mining broker, they don't need paid for reports.

If they feel they want more action in the stock, a joint broker may be worth considering, but that would probably only generate a bit of trading to start with I guess, unless significant news is generated, in which case share price Angel can probably generate some buying.

AIM miners have a poor record on the whole, IMO, and people are generally wary now, so that may account for the lack of interest.

Korea isn't well known for mining, and some of the geology there is difficult, so they really need a stonkingly good news release to garner interest.

So perhaps it's working!
Visibility and all that.
I think to be put off by that is questionable.
I consider the substance behind the company is what counts and eventually results!

Let's see!

tsmith2,

Yes I guess that's it, I can't think of anything else really.

If you have a note written by share price Angel, one of London's leading mining brokers, headed by respected mining analyst John Meyer,I can't think of any other reason to also require a note written by Align.

euclid,

A decent company with a good project doesn't need to pay Align, the management and project stand on their own merits.

And if share price Angel have already given it the same valuation, why on earth do they need to compensate Align, to come to the very same conclusion?

On apersonal level, I am adverse to commissioned "research" reports, because they are being compensated for writing it.

Have you ever read a negative commissioned report? Have you ever read one that recommended a sell?

WELL IF TWO RESEARCH NOTES GIVE it such a high valuation compared to today's price
I am very pleased indeed!
It won't take long for value to be seen I imagine.
