They have some cash ! However I do believe there's a chance we can take over both mines as SAU may not be able to fulfil their obligations.

Anyone know how SAU are funding their 50% of JV costs? I wouldn't rule out them reducing their stake.

I agree Andy I think Southern Gold looks amazing value as their share price is still very much in the doldrums. I know cool runnings exploration involves costs but I am thinking of switching into Southern Gold. Metal Tiger (MTR) have recently taken a stake in Southern Gold too

glenn,

Agreed, I notice 50/50 partner Southern Gold's market cap is less than half BMV's currently!

And they have other exploration projects in South Korea.

yes Andy bit of shame that. It's an interesting old company though. Not a bad place to do business. Gold price way higher than when they did the economics. Looks like the gold could be got out fairly cheaply.

It's a great chart to watch rake. It hits a level where sellers enter, pauses for breath as there is consistent excess demand and then makes the next move upwards. 5p is the next logical step which would be a great base for pre-financing news. When the financing is agreed, who knows where it will go. All imho.

cool,

well if you think that kind of language is acceptable, we'll just have to agree to disagree.

You only demean yourself in the end, nobody makes you read anyone's posts, it's discretionary.

Highly Geared - Did some research on ATLN last night and bought a few this morning. A lot happier with gold than oil at the moment, thanks for the tip.

Andy The thread was quiet and calm before that cretin turned up, I don't need to justify my language to anyone so have no regrets on that, he's now been filtered . Back to watching this break upwards ahead of the update
