Just catching up with the share price Tip for 2020 BMV could be a great investment.

I don't think it's a case of If. With just $2.2m needed, and looking like that could well be non-dilutive I'd say BMV is one of the clear buys for 2020. Peanuts compared to other projects looking for development finance to get into production. A very transformational year, for both the company operationally and the market valuation.

Buy recommendation from Share Prophets this morning. The last paragraph :"With also the seemingly modest funding requirement, we consider there clear multi-bagger potential here. As the company makes operational progress to bring such earnings potential closer, we consider the shares, at a 2p offer, could easily more than double from here in quite short order and thus our stance is now STRONG BUY."

I expect great things of BMV in 2020.We’re 9 months behind where we expected to be but re-opening 2 proven gold mines at low cost with permits in place puts us in a great position and short circuits 10 years of resource drilling etc.

With gold likely to be around $1500 for some time, the timing is good.

Look at Eurasia Minerals who are getting into production in the Urals, a far more risky jurisdiction than South Korea. The shares hardly moved for a long time. I didn’t hold them (unfortunately!) but there performance gives an indication how quickly BMV might explode upwards when gold and silver production is nearly certain

Andy,
BMV are the operator of the 50/50 venture with Southern gold, so its 50%. Its seems likely, that given the directors history, independent nature, their stake in this, and especially ages, they just can't be bothered with the niceties of listed life. I'm not holding that against them at this stage.

Andy - I must admit I don't know if there are any rules governing this beyond practicality, i.e. a time and place suitable for a majority (or quorum) of shareholding.

BMV is registered in BVI. I suspect the Jersey address belongs to an adviser of sorts.

digger - fair enough! I guess since directors carry the bulk of shareholding, with no institutions (AFAIK), they can hold it where/when they please.

Outlaw - last year's AGM was held in Jersey on 29th Dec so looks like they are keeping up the tradition. Probably get tea and mince pies instead of biscuits.

All In Sustaining Costs (AISC) - Its the total cost of ounce of gold that includes the cost of running the company (borrowing money etc) and the (cash) cost of mining.

nw99,

The only figure to use is the AISC of production, that takes out any guesswork re total costs, and includes M & A.

Do BMV own the mine 100%?

An average mining cost of $576 per oz On the basis of 10,000 oz production at a GOLD price of say $1477 per oz you have a gross profit of $9m say overheads of $2m so a net profit of $7m with a market cap of £6m. A potential 10 bagger here and production should begin in 2020 so fairly short term !!!! TFAI.
