05/12/2012 12:08 | FX Analyst...well i find it interesting that what appear to be a savvy well connected capital group hold 25% of a minnow like this. This is certainly a little company that could get involved with some big deals IMVHO | shaun09

05/12/2012 11:42 | sammy G, some interesting posts on here, ora capital seem to be a well funded company with big names on the board and wonder why they have 25% of bluebird. | san pierre
05/12/2012 11:33 | Shaun i must say that was a good spot by you on ORA buying back own shares and i for one do think that is connected to bluebird and something about to be announced.Might take another decent lump here | fx analyst
05/12/2012 11:25 | Yes it is a decent sized stake in BBE and by a company that appear to be very conservative,so they must like something going on here or deals coming IMO | sammy g

05/12/2012 10:55 | sinatrasmile i dont know too much about ora capital but do know that the ceo here is also on ora board as a non-exec.This from a few days ago does look interesting on belize. OIL AND GAS JOURNAL Belize moving on up Monday 3rd December 2012 - 1.48pm By Sam Fletcher Belize has been a hard nut to crack for oil &gas explorers historically but in recent times some notable discoveries have been made and new investment is now starting to move into the territory. The first discovery of petroleum and gas deposits in Belize was made by Belize Natural Energy Ltd in 2005 when the first well in spanish lookout began producing and has seen its production now reach 5,000+ barrels per day. Attention has recently been turned to london aim listed New World oil & gas who are currently drilling / exploring a series of wells on its flagship Blue Creek project, the company recently updated investors with news of the maiden B Crest prospect encountering an active hydrocarbon system. Activity on the license front has also been steadily increasing with a number of new exploration licenses being applied for from a combination of mainly US and UK listed companies, among which are Marathon Oil Corp with three applications and london aim listed Bluebird Energy with two applications. Belize now looks set to be a major draw for oil & gas explorers with attractive tax regimes and modest local labour costs adding to the many attractions of the country. | sammy g
05/12/2012 10:51 | talk2dubya...thanks mate just as i thought,i wonder if some of the guys involved with solitaire are also connected with belize, you often find in the USA that you see the same bunch of guys involved in the same projects with partners. If ORA were making large funds available for developing solitaire and also new assets in belize they could well for example take a percentage of the assets and fund most of the work programmes. | shaun09
05/12/2012 10:50 | Yes right sector, right play, right time I would hope. Posted a link on it earlier this morning going to do some more research tonight on it. Hopefully will hear something about how/when they intend to kick start the Project soon. If not and they sell it then by the looks of things it will be worth quite a bit. | talk2dubya
