21/7/2017 16:15 | Disruptive technology has been around for years, just in many different guises. | donald tramp
21/7/2017 16:05 | Patient capital Thanks. All past examples of how things can take off. I bought into Ethereum initally as I knew very little about Cryptos or blockchains but I saw the whole market cap of all those in it combined rising by $300m every hour two months ago, YES $300m per hour!!!Insane amounts are entering. So what do we have? we have a company involved in nanopayments. Anyone should nanopayments in google and see what comes back. Third entry down (last I check) Satoshi Pay! What better advertising? Now we are in with IOTA which over a month ago I read about but turned off because I could find a broker to deal with. Now I have IOTA as well and what they can do for Satoshi Pay will benefit both of them and it opens door after door in industry after industry with home devices all interacting with each other. Disruptive technology has just arrived in a big way. | counting cards
21/7/2017 15:53 | Tilly, you should switch off for a bit. You'll make yourself ill and us! | patientcapital
21/7/2017 15:52 | Good point CC.And before that do you remember the first mobile phones? You had to be a weightlifter to carry those around with the same "those will never take off" remarks. Then the smart phone. What next? | patientcapital

21/7/2017 14:47 | I just wanted to make sure I was reading it that 50% of all profits will according to you make up costs. Ed you are predicting 7 billion people, Meinhard is projecting more than that within the nanopayment world by 7 minutes. You work out how much traffic is passing over the internet worldwide, and if that can be monetized well then you begin to get a grip to what is happening. This is deja vue because 20 years ago I was told the internet is a load of cobblers and no one would dare use it for monetary purposes. Well my life changed for the better when I ignored that statement! | counting cards
21/7/2017 14:41 | Counting cards, do I really need to explain to you that a businesses incur costs? Staff, tech infrastructure, marketing.... Paypal profit margin is 14.5% so I was being extremely generous with my 50% assumption. There are roughly 7 billion people on the planet, so is Meinhard predicting that everyone on the planet is going to be processing a Satoshipay payment every minute? Wow. Incredible. | edpick
21/7/2017 14:32 | Edpick If they did 150m tranactions per year it would not be worth my time. Its been said by Meinhard in one of the videos on youtube that nanopayments transaction can run at billion transactions per minute. Base on that you can see potential and I will give you this, its future potential I am buying. Now could break down when you said profit margins of 50% of say 2p was only 1p can you tell me what is the other 1p for that is not the profit element based on your calculations? thanks. | counting cards
21/7/2017 14:22 | 'Cryptocurrencies are clearly on the rise, and due to their successes, they can no longer be dismissed as a niche monetary system. The pertinent question is will this rise will lead to the worldwide adoption of an entirely new currency and finance system? Disclosure: Several members of the Futurism team, including the editors of this piece, are personal investors in cryptocurrency markets. Their personal investment perspectives have no impact on editorial content.' | hazl
21/7/2017 14:19 | Hi moormoney. Hope all is ok with you now and you're managing to get things sorted. It's been a rough few days in this area. | flashheart
21/7/2017 14:18 | poor you moormoney | hazl
21/7/2017 14:17 | 'The enthusiasm with which China and Japan have embraced cryptocurrency systems has contributed to their worldwide success. Virtual currencies have become more popular and valuable than the vast majority of people could have anticipated upon their inception around a decade ago. The value of a single bitcoin has risen from roughly $0.00075 to $2,500, and the market cap for all cryptocurrencies has exceed $100 billion. The success of cryptocurrencies is also reflected in their increasing adoption by formal institutions. Wall Street is making moves to start using cryptocurrency systems by next year, a Swiss town called Zug has begun to accept payments in bitcoins, and the Gemini Trust in New York has been licensed to trade ether.' from futurism link | hazl
21/7/2017 14:10 | Ive had a nailbiting two days with no internet due to a lightening strike. phones burnt out router ruined....BLU still going up thank goodness!!! | moormoney
21/7/2017 14:07 | Some people say 'fools rush in ' and all that but I think, often on shares 'he who hesitates is lost' edpick you admit you were disappointed you missed the boat why don't you move on if you don't want them? People can make up their own minds surely? This nanopayments service will be global....it just depends who the preferred party is. That is the main consideration and risk I would have thought. Nothing is guaranteed in shares or the prices would be a lot higher! | hazl
21/7/2017 14:07 | Tilly no I'm not a holder. Interested in the concept so may take a small position once this pump and dump is over, subject to a positive update re proof of concept in August. Interested to hear your thoughts about potential future earnings and time frames for achieving? | edpick
21/7/2017 14:06 | Is Satoshi a public company? If so maybe it's cheaper to buy into? | tilly99
21/7/2017 13:57 | EdpickAre you a holder? Can you not see a great future for Satoshi? It's early days but then that's when the big bucks can be made | tilly99
21/7/2017 13:45 | Sorry, based that on a PE of 20 - even more generous. | edpick
21/7/2017 13:44 | Comedy, why are you making a big deal out of these warrants? The share price has got to hit those levels and then Coinsilium can choose to exercise or not? They're irrelevant at the moment? Was just thinking about the future value of Satoshipay. Let's say an average transaction they undertake is 20p, with Satoshipay taking 2p of that. Let's also say (generously) that they operate on a net profit margin of 50%, so 1p profit on average for every transaction. Based on the current share price of BLU, gives Satoshipay a market cap of roughly £30m. Let's say (generously) that the market values Satoshipay in the future on a PE of 15. So to justify the market cap of £30m, Satoshipay would need to make £1.5m profit. So achieve this, they would need to process 150m transactions. Of course all of this is total pie in the sky at present. Just making the point that, in my eyes, to justify the current BLU share price, Satoshipay should be processing 150m transactions per year. Can someone tell me how many they are processing please? Or what they are projecting going forward? Or is it just a "concept" at the moment? | edpick
21/7/2017 13:42 | Yes nitpicking of a few fractions of pence here and there.......... ought to be reserved for Satoshi pay! It's easier on your nerves, too, not jumping in and out, but it is true everybody's got their own style - as long as they don't thrust it on the rest to hollow suit, I see nothing wrong with it. 21/7/2017 13:32 | yesterday all the 0.3's were weeded out..today all the 0.4's will be gone:) | comedy |
