02/7/2021 19:33 | They are selling via top tier OEM’s so I don’t think that’s a concern. | nickb

02/7/2021 18:55 | MK. I’m sure with clients like Bloomberg signed up for 5 years, they won’t come across that problem. | cabi1
02/7/2021 17:25 | some organisations do exclude suppliers based on turnover | _m_k
02/7/2021 14:06 | The way I see it in terms of ‘business̵ A small number of market stalls are open and many investors seem to be looking at the takings. Some decide they want out and invest in a corner shop as the takings are higher..But… Behind the Market stalls is a huge shopping mall being constructed to serve a new City which is all being replicated and connected via Superhighway around the globe. Which are you investing for? The market stall? Blackbird is a strong offering in the new video eco system that is currently being designed and constructed and is close to opening. | nickb
02/7/2021 14:05 | Nice post Bonio. That’s unlike you, your normally digging them out. | cabi1
02/7/2021 13:13 | CCallen. I agree with most of your post apart from the last statement. I don't think the very modest turnover has any effect in attracting clients of quality. Their list of clients pretty impressive already and they have attracted new clients and partners since this turnover was in the public domain. The question for me is how they continually monetise and profit from these relationships and to what extent. IM was talking about the OEM and Licensing strategy so it will interesting to see how these develop. There is very little financial flesh on the bone and the financial growth is cloudy. So I guess we will know alot more on release of the interims. | 1leeson
02/7/2021 09:49 | I think we will nudge £2.5m this year and EBITDA will be c. (£500k). | bonio10000
02/7/2021 09:36 | With all of that, which is a fantastic list, it has not shown up in the figures as yet. Perhaps it will be in the H1 accounts and the pace of growth will have increased dramatically? | chriscallen
02/7/2021 09:27 | It's an apt analogy. | bonio10000
02/7/2021 09:04 | I would be happier if he was focused on BIRD. It suggests that either he does not have a day full of challenges or he doesn't get enough intellectual satisfaction from those challenges. But what he does in his own time is up to him ~ I usually go for a long walk. I understand that for some investors the promotion of a revolutionary product may be the hook for their choice of the shares they hold. For me its all about getting a decent return and that inevitably means focusing on the numbers as well as the product. I've seen too many companies fail because they had a good product but failed to sell it in the face of their competitors. One company that did was a Japanese manufacturer of zips that set up in the UK. They didn't compete on price and were prepared to face 25 years of losses to get the market share they wanted. It took 3 years for them effectively to wipe out the UK industry by offering guaranteed delivery of the product within 48 hrs and dyeing the back cloth to the exact colour specified by the customer (UK companies at that time offered a choice of about 10 (black, brown, yellow ets). My only problem with BIRD is that they tick all of the right boxes but its not really showing at all in the financial figures revealed to date. It may well be on course to do so and I'm holding my shares because I think IM will do so. My worry I suppose is that at a turnover of £1.5M the customers BIRD wants just cannot take them seriously. | chriscallen
02/7/2021 00:36 | Sorry cab1, that was meant to be addressed to Chris. Well cc, what do you think about SS's obsession with covid19? | mcsean2164
01/7/2021 17:49 | Anyone who invests in Africa is thick, that includes mining exploration, you will be bummed and torn a new one, just how it works in Africa. Soon as I see exploration in Africa woooshh I am out. To be fair I wouldn't buy anything East of Germany either. Goo BIRD I am not scared bothered or even take note of any clueless derampers - yup I said it . "It has started" in Trader speak. BWTDFIK | sideshowbull

01/7/2021 17:30 | SSB The new Player that we had a sneaky peak at relies on Blackbird Codec V10 and Public Cloud (my understanding) | nickb
01/7/2021 17:30 | It’s just a hobby for that massive brain of his. Probably takes me longer to pick my nose than it does for SS to compile one of his Twitter Covid posts. | cabi1
01/7/2021 17:26 | Chris It’s a analytical mindset like that which misses the big investment Story imho. | nickb
01/7/2021 17:03 | SS knows the BIRD is the future. He’s chilled. He’s never sold any, apart from the ones he gifted to IM. | cabi1 |
