Allenby Capital comment:
Blackbird's partnership with LiveU was announced in March and this represents a high profile first showcase of the combined solution with a major European media company. News remains a core target market for Blackbird and plays to the strengths of the technology - near real-time access, edit and publish on time critical content,
multiple feeds and distributed teams of editors.

There is little benefit from editing very large Master video files when a lightweight version is available, the same editorial decisions will be made.

Master files should be used at the end finishing stage.

"Any highlights/new insghts to mention?"

yes - a very streamlined integration with aws

why would anyone bother doing it any other way

with more content ending up in the cloud you'd be bonkers to consider a workflow involving humping large files (which are only going to get bigger btw) around in order to get things done.

looks like a one-way bet

Agreed NickB.

Wouldn’t take much buying to get us back up to 36p.

Going to need a top RNS to get us back up to 40 and above.

IMHO.

How hard and expensive can it be to put those videos on our own Blackbird website with the blackbird player and yes continue posting to YouTube

Chris Yes.

Ian said 2 things re Amazon AWS in a recent presentation

1. Amazon has been providing a lot of technical help to get us onto AWS public Cloud.

2. AWS is our preferred Cloud service

As far as I know they still have Blackbird running on Azure and Google Cloud.

Also Amazon AWS is dominating the Media industry for Cloud I believe.

starting these videos with upfront blackbird player demo is a great way to introduce the platform

A few years ago, any mention of Amazon partnership and we would be through the roof, funny times..

Presumably the AWS/BIRD video confirms that at least AWS is going to be a public cloud provider for BIRDs clients.

It’s Very powerful and highly integrated into Amazon AWS so not just a bolt on service offer.

Must have been a lot of work by both Blackbird and Amazon.

Agreed SSB.

I still think so many people don’t realise how good it is.

Isn't this the same guy that has mentioned three or four TAs over the last few weeks that should be buy signals? And every time they haven't materialised. Not that it matters to me as I'm here until quad digit share price.
