15/2/2024 13:40 | Cabi It’s your money invested you get to laugh. It seems that Investors here are now investing in a business startup with zero revenue called elevate.io Interesting | ![]() nickb
15/2/2024 13:11 | NickB. You got me in bits here. I can’t stop laughing. | ![]() cabi1
15/2/2024 13:06 | Pokerchips Yes that’s right but the market doesn’t buy the upside does it. Many here are putting a lot of faith in them building a big business from startup zero revenue elevate over the next 3-5 years then magically a bidder will come in with a $b offer Even I wouldn’t buy that. | ![]() nickb
15/2/2024 12:52 | Nick The low share price is fair right now... They have results coming up with continued Enterprise losses ...and they have spent cash on something which the market knows little about and at present is purely a cash burn.. "Everything you need and nothing that you dont" .... I hope they get that right ...remove the complexity where not required but have the fire power for those that need it | ![]() pokerchips2
15/2/2024 12:21 | To be fair I’m still waiting to log in to elevate for the last few months 😂 | ![]() nickb

15/2/2024 12:18 | Back in the real world My monitor screen while trying to use Adobe Cloud at the moment It says ‘Verifying Adobe media encoder’ It’s been 6 minutes and I’m still not in. That’s today’s example of Pain using Adobe’s Cloud from a $300 billion company | ![]() nickb
15/2/2024 12:17 | Whether Adobe would like to acquire it is not the only key issue as they have previous form. If they did make an offer would the regulatory authorities in the US, UK and EU permit it to go through? It's not just a question of BIRDs size but the impact of combining their respective technologies and the effect that would have on the sector that would be considered.. That's why licensing it non-exclusively to big players is attractive as it gets round a referral. It also provides a boost to marketing it without directly costing BIRD anything. | ![]() chriscallen
15/2/2024 12:14 | NickB I think the low share price and tiny volume in share trading indicates that hardly anybody has Blackbird on their radar. Those who are interested in Blackbird have already eaten their fill of shares! Very few people have any clue about Blackbird and in particular elevate.io At this stage the whole thing is basically a secret! Currently the market isn't interested in Blackbird. | ![]() salmon9
15/2/2024 12:12 | So it’s 7.1p because the market believes in the company OKAY 😀 | ![]() nickb
15/2/2024 11:32 | 7.115p Proves the market doesn’t believe in the company | ![]() nickb
15/2/2024 11:31 | Pokerchips Yes competitive bid situation way to go! The Player (if disruptive) opens up a wider interest compared to elevate If it’s that good perhaps we should refuse all offers😀 | ![]() nickb
15/2/2024 11:21 | 7.115 offered. | ![]() cabi1
15/2/2024 09:57 | Twiglett I suspect the whole IP and back end structure could be of use to the likes of Adobe, given the range of products they have Right now I suspect they are just leaving the BOD to go as far as they can and "may" wait for the BOD to make the decision to put itself up for sale, given as Nick B suggests the difficult path of scaling up by itself.. Putting itself up for sale would then open the doors for any interested parties to take a look and put in offers, maybe creating competitive bids That would be my route out...putting itself up for sale....rather than getting a bid right now But... all possible paths open | ![]() pokerchips2
15/2/2024 09:50 | Good discussion, thanks guys for the input.... I fully understand NickB point of view and angle he is seeing from but there are many potentially "disruptive" Apps etc out there and you could potentially see the likes of Adobe buying a lot of them because " they have the customer numbers" ... so . Elevate has to be "really" disruptive to make it so high up the list to reach the status of buying the tech ... and that is still debatable at this stage as to whether that will be the case ... disruptive means not just for the here and now but obviously say for the next 5 years or more in the sense that it has to be seen to be able to change and adapt and grow as the sector demands evolve, as that is what the likes of Adobe will want from it | ![]() pokerchips2
15/2/2024 09:15 | Twiglett. People are only interested in the goose, not the golden egg. | ![]() invest360
15/2/2024 09:06 | Couldn’t somebody just buy Elevate and not Bird in its entirety? As Bird are licensing to Elevate we then still own the IP What value on just Elevate? and would that make more sense to Adobe. | twiglett
15/2/2024 08:47 | Some very sane real-world analysis, Nick2412. Sorry to say it, NickB, but your thesis that a large corporate like Adobe could never acquire Blackbird if it starts to prove itself successful in the market is just wrong. If you were correct, then it would mean that Adobe could never acquire another company again. | ![]() invest360
15/2/2024 05:49 | Not really cab1 just good natured discussion - certainly from my perspective. The caps were only to differentiate the text. I think the only disagreement is on timing, market obligations on announcements and whether Adobe inaction means ‘go it alone’ and, by definition, no prospect of interest from Adobe competitors. Edit: just had a text from IM. Apparently, NickB was right but the board rejected the offer as it didn’t meet their valuation. A poultry £36.99 per share was offered which is chicken feed! On a brighter note Ian did add that he, Sumit and SS would be upping the marketing and releasing a Company version of the Wurzels song ‘BlackbirdR | ![]() nick2412
15/2/2024 03:16 | Unfortunately NickB is usually wrong. | ![]() cabi1
15/2/2024 03:14 | Fk me it’s like war and peace on here at the moment. Let’s hope NickB is right and there’s an imminent take over. I don’t think I can take much more of this. | ![]() cabi1 |
