14/2/2024 16:58 | Perfectly possible to ten bag in six months or so Agree with bonio on marketing No big bang but I would hope for one of two interesting distribution partners | ![]() geheimnis2
14/2/2024 16:31 | John Via share being suspended from trading? You can’t have the share price shooting up quickly to even 50p without market regulators stepping in Massive jumps in value are common in small tech companies but they are always in unquoted companies with private equity You can’t expect AIM to value technology ip | ![]() nickb

14/2/2024 15:43 | The only question mark I have over the NickB theory is how we get from 7p to ££s Yes, I know the arguments but it is, or should be, an unprecedented jump to what I believe SS and IM want. | ![]() johnveals

14/2/2024 15:32 | I think they will use SEO and get some articles and interviews out there within the sector media/blogs etc etc and get it known within the Search Engines and then have introductory videos etc ready to fire out with the marketing ..spread the word through LinkedIn and X etc via followers etc They made some good short marketing videos for Enterprise but they never really did anything | ![]() pokerchips2
14/2/2024 15:27 | " IF it’s so good and disruptive " Nick, how are you doing to define "disruptive" and what timescale does it need to reach this "disruptive" stage? Are you thinking Adobe or whoever will test it and know it will be disruptive just by the fact that it "is so good" ? | ![]() pokerchips2
14/2/2024 15:12 | bonio That’s reasonable view although somewhat Leisurely Sunday afternoon drive type marketing watch the pennies approach. Makes sense I suppose. | ![]() nickb
14/2/2024 15:04 | It depends upon the launch. I never thought it would be a bells and whistle super bowl half time launch. I always assumed the product would "go live" and then they would slowly roll out the marketing and customer acquisition plans over a couple of months. They don't have to do all the cash reserves in the first fortnight. Concentrate is also of the view that the payment system will not be ready to Q2 anyway - so any launch will be a very soft one. | ![]() bonio10000
14/2/2024 14:59 | The more I think about it, and boy have I been thinking about it, along with all the titbits, thoughts, theories and other bits of information thrown up on here, the more I’m coming down on NickB’s possible idea. If we were planning to go full steam ahead on taking the product to market, it would be crazy to go to all the levels of seeming to put obstacles in the way for Joe Public to get any teensy bit of an insight to what the thing can actually do. Not a whisper from anyone who’s been testing it to date. The NDAs must be particularly binding, or indeed lucrative, for the seals to be so tight. As ever, I stand to be completely blindsided by events, but if we were going to launch in under 6 weeks, you’d expect to see momentum starting to build in teasers, “sneak previews” from tame journos, just something but we’re seeing the square root of zip all. It’s intriguing. | ![]() hairflick
14/2/2024 14:35 | Nick I agree except a share price can’t be allowed to shoot up as the company will be forced to make a statement. It’s not like a normal acquisition situation of 30-50% premium Our technology can’t be valued on AIM with accuracy what can be valued is day to day transactions like a willing seller at 7p a willing buyer at 7.25p Prices shooting up indicates insider trading it’s the last thing they want. So personally I don’t expect any early indication from the price. My theory also says if no acquisition then it will never happen and we will be left alone to develop a business and the big boys who want this technology urgently are going with another plan. Comes down to Is our video technology disruptive in a multi billion $ market and do the big players recognise it? Yes or No | ![]() nickb
14/2/2024 13:54 | Nothing stupid about your theory Nick. There's a lot of logic and sense to it and with all the cutting-edge, patented competitive advantages 'the package' will have, then I believe it will happen. The caveat is the share price is screaming 'not just yet' and the share price usually is a foreteller. Maybe it's a unique and different scenario from any other takeover in the history of AIM this time. Unlikely at this stage but you never know. | ![]() nick2412

14/2/2024 13:45 | There are so many theories. All points are valid. However, they are just theories.Another one could be that they hired a Socials guru to force the hand of bigger companies in terms of a buyout.Who knows. No one knows. The guy who put me onto Blackbird several years ago is a family friend of IM. I spoke to him recently, and he said it was impossible to get anything out of him. The very limited dialogue makes complete sense. Whether it is a soft launch or a buyout. The anticipation and excitement as we near the end game is palatable.Hold onto your nerve and hats, though. Not long now. | ![]() ortegaworm
14/2/2024 13:44 | ‘ IM said the emphasis has been on developing the prototypes and market testing them to the nth degree.’ Nick2412 Yes I remember that statement Which to me means the prototypes have been in the hands of powerful big tech for testing and evaluation for some time to the nth degree. (Which has to happen at this scale). Hence my theory which is not as stupid as some here make out. | ![]() nickb

14/2/2024 12:56 | Stark That’s why we have been invested here! And that’s why my theory makes sense because IF it’s so good and disruptive then we will be acquired and someone else will be launching elevate with their name on it. | ![]() nickb

14/2/2024 12:47 | Elevate.io offers a big range of services that potential users have said they want and ensures that they are all compatible." There will also be the possibility for third-party providers to "plug-in" added assets that a video creator can access at extra cost such a stock video footage library, graphics , animations, audio effects etc etc ..... so..in theory..whatever you need will be available to you , as the plug-ins are added There is also likely to be a Community forum and a Community for Users to connect, communicate, Ian McDonough CEO : "H.264 and H.265 are fantastic for streaming high-quality content, but generally in one direction. If you try and manipulate those codecs back and forth in an edit environment, they suffer latency and frame inaccuracy." By contrast, Blackbird's codec doesn't apply MPEG compression (typically Long GOP) standards and file formats to media, but works in software through java script. we don't store original content, in the cloud, just the proxy files, and because Blackbird encoded versions can only be read by another Blackbird player or interface, the platform is highly secure A rights holder will be able to allow unlimited sharing of a clip from their content, but anyone would be accessing it from the same point. Should there come a point where a rights package is no longer valid, you can just delete it once and all those links around the world will delete also. His analogy is that competitors that have tried to solve this cloud post-production conundrum have put wings on a train to get it to fly, whereas "we created an aeroplane from the ground up." | stark industries
