My vision is everything you need at your fingertips to create great content and in a pain free way, everything just works and everything is taken care of in the cloud no hassle.
Add frictionless collaboration and that’s got to be worth £30 per month. |
bonio10000 MV was SR's man and they joined BIRD together. He obviously felt that he had done what SR wanted and that he could go and do what he, MV, wanted. We may well not have seen the last of him... I don't think it's in SR's nature to abandon somebody he has worked with on what is now elevate. Remember in one of the very first joint SR/MV videos they both independently discovered BIRD as a candidate for creating elevate.io |
Unfortunately MV was mostly a canard in the history of elevate. |
Chriscallen Your observation sounds accurate to me. I doubt a genius ever runs out of ideas and visions, using what is already known and achieved as stepping stones to even more amazing original breakthroughs. Over time,elevate.io will surely continue to rise as it's name suggests. |
I think we have a lot more to go before we see the whole of SR's vision for elevate. MV is away in the rural north working on music it is said and how does that market fit in with elevate.io? |
It definitely feels like there is finally movement towards a proper launch kicking in.
This time next year, Rodney … |

Sumit Looking forward to tomorrows podcast live at 4PM GMT/11AM EST/ 8AM PST with Nick Lisher discussing the growing use of video as a medium for marketeers. We'll also be giving a demo of new features in elevate.io 🤗 |
I think we'll have some sort of update tommorrow, users or features |
Followers are still up decently.
We must be very close to an RNS - assuming they will keep the market updated on Registered users. |

Cocorico it looks like it’s a report post option. Fairly sure it’s new as I’d not noticed it till you pointed it out. |

>>The puzzle is what do they use when in place of what premise means in English?
damn, chriscallen i'm going to be thinking about this all day now, i need to find an educated american to ask! |
the on-premis debate ...
according to wikipedia, which we know is always correct on everything :) the correct term is on-premises however it is often written as on-prem or on-premis
ionos, who are a big datacentre company and with whom i have a server, have an information page defining the meaning of on-premises where they use the term on-premesis 30 times and on-premis only once, which is probably a typo.
amazon themselves who are the biggest cloud provider have a page: which is the search results has a title of SaaS vs On Premise - Difference Between Software Deployments however on the page itself it only uses the word premises (32 times)
various other companies do seem to use the word on-premis.
perhaps IM should just use the shortened term on-prem, that way everybody is happy!!
anyway, that's my coffee finished, off with the dog now, have a great day everybody!
hopefully soon we'll be debating about which colour is best for a Shelby! |
As almost everything is being hosted in data centres (centers) these days, the term is largely switching to private cloud hosted so you won’t have to let these major issues keep you awake at night for much longer.
9 times out of 10 it’s shortened to on-prem anyway so you can append your preferred suffix to keep things right. |
