Morning Trident. Yes, I use Investegate too and thought there must have been a delay in issuing the results, but there is a link in the "news" section on this page, just below the graphs. Don't know why Investegate doesn't have the RNS yet.

I will be interviewing Peter Harrison, CEO, BVXP, lunchtime tomorrow (Tuesday), any questions post here, or through our website PIWorld.co.uk and I will put them to him.

The video of the interview will hopefully be posted later this week.

Hi IS - where are you seeing them. They're not on Investegate or their site?

Lovely results. Special divi as well as increased final. New test WILL replace the one who's royalty expires soon. More staff yet admin expenses down!
And two Oslo projects.
Gotta love this company.

Very much enjoyed the video, and the Payton blog. I've been a holder since April 2015, and have added a number of times when the stock was below £10 - avge in price about £9.20. Still decent risk/reward stock even with the recent move, but I think the staff retention point is a good one. I suspect that the firm will need to tie it's PHDs in more strongly, although an LTIP structured through share options would be the best approach IMV. Timing od Siemens Troponin test clearly going to be a near-term (1 yr) share price driver, but I do like the fact that they simply stop the old test one day, and start the new one the next, so this doesn't seem like a slow ratchet up of revenues, but a sudden jump. Definitely worth staying with this one, and lets see what the results on Monday tell us!!

Piedro, Maynard Paton has done an excellent Blog on BVXP in the last few days. It clearly shows pro's and con's - hxxp://maynardpaton.com/2016/10/10/bioventix-i-could-not-resist-paying-up-for-growth/#more-3967

Compulsory viewing for any BVXP holder

- as an outsider I greatly enjoyed the video
- and although the share price ran away whilst checking the facts
- am now a small holder but wonder how the new science of
genetic engineering will affect the future of the company

Opodio... indeed an interesting observation - unfortunately / fortunately ( depending on how you view it) then some extremely highly skilled people get focused on a goal and accept existing terms & conditions of employment .... it is a pity we don't have similar mentality at some higher levels in UK companies and SERVICE providers .... the highly qualified technical staff basically get shafted in the end .... I've known a scientist with PhD earning less than a senior technician ....

Opodio, where are you suggesting they go and work for higher rewards? That's a serious question. Is there a comparable company in the area that could pay a higher salary and 6-figure amounts of share options? I don't think any of them would want to work in a big corporate such as Glaxo. I'm hoping that they will want to stay around at least the next 4 or 5 years by which time their options, and my shares, will be worth a lot more.

Only £1.2m of shares under option at today's price. Split between 9 employees. A few years pay for each I guess so will help with retention.
But not mega - the company does seem to get away with paying very little.

I would imagine they have share options.

I just wonder whether this business can continue to enjoy such immense margins by paying a dozen science boffins somewhat ordinary wages (average staff cost for 2015: £48k).

Will there come a time when the workers demand a much greater reward for their efforts — and a greater cut of that lucrative royalty income?

Very low wages for 12 PHDs

Good time for someone to poach the entire team

Very kind offer but I’ll have to pass as working in Cornwall, none of these events are practical for me to attend sadly! Would really appreciate if you’re able to post any of your findings after the event though. Thanks very much.

topsliced a few just under 1300. nothing has changed with the company except some buying pressure caused by the article meaning the share price is 15% higher. I was getting a bit overweight so I'll take that and still have BVXP as one of my largest 5 holdings.
