Bit of volume creeping in again...

I suspect we could bounce swiftly from here (yet again!)...

At some stage the upward resistance around 130p will be broken and progress will be rapid....

Certainly the actual real world BQE looks to be in increasingly good shape!

Good luck all!

I've sold out remaining interest ( small holding) with jitters on price. A bit concerned that Byotrol have captured NHS contracts.

As suggested on 6th November:

"IMHO price puts it firmly in oversold territory. Next move should creep back up a couple of pence".

In fact moved up 11p so going in right direction.

They've moved it up on practically no trades again, suggests news or upgrade on the way. On the other hand this rise could be down to the Horizon scaremongering exercise on bird flu on Tuesday, in which case it could be short-lived, it was all hypothetical.

I've missed it for this stretch anyway unless it pulls back substantially and gives me another chance...no signs of that yet.

The gap above at 120.5 might prove a resistance point, if I were holding I'd watch out around there, make sure there's enough volume on at least some of the upmoves to confirm the validity of the whole rise. If not, there's likely to be another sharp fall and that's what I'll be looking for.

Scotswhaehae. I just think people need to be warned about you. It appears you start many, many threads yet don't post on them for long. Is this because once you've generated interest in your worthless shares you sell into the resultant strength?

Thanks Nashwan.

I'm being a bit careful with it at this point. There was a Horizon programme on Bird Flu last night (a real scaremongering job), and I've seen a newsletter advertised for Bird Flu stocks (would you believe!). It's possible BQE's on their list in which case the hype probably won't last - Horizon's case was purely hypothetical, the virus hasn't mutated yet.

Technically, it gapped up into the rise and the gap may get filled. It's still below the 10-day ema and I want it above that and also the 20sma before I go for it.

But there's also a gap above at 120.5, it could fill that first and then come back to fill the lower one. Or it could keep right on going, but right now I feel that's the least likely scenario unless some positive news comes in.

the kardinnel name has an imagined grievance after being pulled up by me in post 288 on my WHT thread...maybe worth a read to get the measure of the guy if you fancy a laugh...

meanwhile possibly a turning point for the BQE share price today...let's hope so.

Watch Scotswhaehae. Always take his posts with a large handful of salt. He distorts, he lies, with one aim in mind.

First stirrings of interest again imho...

Smartish move to 125p plus could be on the cards...

Good luck all!

cymbelline good call on your chart.

BQE is now trading in profit and for some unknown reason seen its share price retrace recently. IMHO price puts it firmly in oversold territory. Next move should creep back up a couple of pence.

It took longer than I thought it would but has now fallen hard over the past three days and in the absence of news could fall a lot further yet.

I'm looking as low as 103.5 to 104p. There's a gap down there that might need to be filled and the 78.6% Fibonacci retracement level (103.8p to be exact)coincides with a strong line of horizontal support from May at 104p.

Another strong trendline from the highs in Jan & March thru the top of the gap crosses the horizontal support line in the last week or so of October. That's roughly when a fall is expected in markets in general. BQE is a defensive stock and likely to be bought when cyclical stocks are falling, so that's my target timewise.

I'm not so sure...you can't tell a thing from the trade reports and they could easily have been, but at this stage in the market it's as well to be a bit wary of large trades, big players tend to offload surreptitiously while Joe Public's still snapping up shares.

It's had a good run considering the level of volume and I'm expecting a bit of a pullback next week unless the weekend Press cover it over the weekend and give it another boost. Indicators are getting very overbought now and it needs to correct a little to give it a good basis for another run up.

But in the medium-long term the rise has only just started, imo. Headline at interims last year was "Bioquell H1 loss widens on weak orders and higher costs" and the price fell to 96p. This time it's "Bioquell moves into profit for the first time, sees healthy H2", and we're still at only 117p.

I'm going to buy more, but waiting now for a retracement.

Noticeable increase in volume yesterday. I'm assuming that many of the sells were in fact buys. Especially the 50,000.

There isn't enough volume yet to get anyone interested. Hopefully one of the small company tipsters will pick up on it (they're not always the kiss of death :-)) and get it noticed.

Excellent results, surprised there wasn't a bigger move but perhaps the recent gains were a precursor. More to come, imho, although it may be a slow burn.

Yes, up 3p this time, again on no trades.

525BMW, Bqe were defo the company involved. Go to www.bioquell.com and click on news, I'd do a link but it isn't working.

Anyway, that was the 6th August. This has to be something else. Strong horizontal resistance (now support) had built up at 104p since the end of May (5 consecutive daily hits then and 10 in July/August) and it's motored right up through it this morning.

I wouldn't want to be out altogether but I'm sticking with my small tranche until something definite emerges.
